Just reiterating what others have said: Intel. Trust Blue and its superior tech.

Also, to clarify, it's pretty disingenuous of AMD to claim the processor is 5GHz when it's actually clocked at 4.7GHz and has a dynamic boost that brings it up to 5 when it's stressed.
Just more pathetic attempts at trying to return to their glory days. It's over AMD, you missed.
AMD has serious cajones charging that kind of markup for something that's inferior to what Intel has in their arsenal. Seriously, their marketing department is deluded.
Translation: "I didn't like what the review said but have nothing of value to offer to this thread so I'll just post some random, meaningless drivel."

Some quotes from the conclusion:
"When up against the Core i7 4770k or 3930k/3960x it is seriously outgunned. This is probably why AMD arent sampling the part directly to the press, aiming it at system builders. Again, we cant imagine a system builder will want to cool this monster long term"
"The AMD FX9590 is a solid processor for 3D rendering, but Intel have made a lot of strides in the last couple of generations, and we found that even the Core i7 4770k is a much more effective design on a core per core basis, even with four less physical cores"
"It proves very difficult to score the AMD FX9590 as it is a seriously niche product. The price alone drops the overall score several points. If AMD brought it out around the ÂŁ300 mark then it would have made a lot more sense, but at ÂŁ700 there is no possibility for a recommendation"
Seems like AMD tried and tried as hard as they might, but in the end, they still fell flat on their face. This Frankenstein Monster CPU is their best attempt at catching up to a lower clocked Intel CPU? Lol, epic fail.
Stick with blue, boys. It'll get you to where you need to go faster, cooler, and cleaner.

Quote from Mr. Feldman (VP and GM of server division):
"Bulldozer was without doubt an unmitigated failure. We know it."
"It cost the CEO his job, it cost most of the management team its job, it cost the vice president of engineering his job. You have a new team. We are crystal clear that that sort of failure is unacceptable."
It's like finally admitting that grass is green. Only took a few years, but he's basically saying what the rest of the sane hardware community already knew: Faildozer was a turd of epic proportions
Deragotary remarks about my character from petulant posters who cry any time AMD is called out = gold.

Is this the beginning of the end for team green? Intel with access to Radeon on their own bleeding edge fabs could be the death knell for nVidia too.
Wrapped up the trilogy. Solid experience, though I noticed a gradual progression as the series went along from survival horror to action horror, but I digress. The third one, for all the whining it was getting upon release, feels underrated in that regard, even if it did deviate some from the other two. So without further ado...
POSSIBLE SPOILERS BELOW
