i run crysis with everithing medium except shader and water that cannot go higher than low because of my card

I want to buy this upconverter dvd and it says it can upconvert up to 1080p

is it possible to upconvert with component cables ? ( if its possible i guess it would only go to 1080i )

my tv accept 1080p i'm playing darkness in 1080p as we speak.

and i already knew that the x360 upscales dvd's i just hoped the hd-dvd would do it without the need of hdmi or vga

because microsoft as been stupid for not giving HDMI support

so now my only option is over VGA but my tv doesnt have VGA.

i have 2 hdmi 2 component , svideo , etc... but no vga. :@
