Resident Evil 5 has a vest that you can buy. Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2 also have vests that you have to acquire.

I hope they put the game in a new location. If they decide to go outside the US, then Mexico gets my vote. The gang activity going on nowadays is rough. And I think the whole look and feel of Mexico would work really well. Hell, they could make it, so the game takes place around the border between Mexico and USA, with different sections representing LA (Los Santos), Mexico, and as well as section for Texas. There would be a lot of possibilities in such a setup. How about a mission where you smuggle guns from America into Mexico, and return while smuggling drugs or people back.
yep thats it, cheers mate. Bit of a non-existant ending...

I take it you haven't played a RE game before. They all end that way.
Anyone here getting mad, it's your own fault. You got all wound up expecting a grand announcement. Sony never said that they had a "big" announcement, that is the fault of kotaku and forum hype. They just vaguely said they'd make an announcement. How many times must these disappointments happen before people learn. Don't get mad at Sony, the didn't hype this story up. They were pretty low key, telling only one measly website about it. All the other websites that I've seen reporting the impending announcement kept referring back to Kotaku.
I think both names kinda suck. Freedom Tower sounds like it was built in a '50s Superhero comic, and One World Trade Center sounds like Illuminati headquarters. Elraptor
Ha! The whole "One World" thing. Well, maybe it is a more accurate name, then. ;)
We are seeing this type of shift in advertising all over. We are in a recession, and companies are trying to sell more on value. It's a smart approach. People don't care that "Cool guy" uses a Mac while "Fat Nerd" uses PC, or which comes in the more stylish packaging. Most people are trying to get the most bang for their buck. I'm interested in seeing how Apple adjusts to this.
One World Trade Center? That sounds quite weird.Cherokee_Jack
That is the address. The same as the previous towers (1 and 2 World Trade Center). I'm glad they changed it back. "Freedom Tower" is a relic from the period just after 9/11, when the whole nation went a bit crazy and started putting "freedom" on the names of everything (Operation Enduring Freedom; freedom fries).
I can't speak for everyone here, but JRPGs lost their appeal for me with its story and art direction. I feel like I've been watching the same story for 10 years. Also, while other genres seem to be making strides in the way they engage and interact with the viewer, rpgs haven't. But the nail in the coffin (and this is not the fault of the games themselves), is that I simply don't have the time to dedicate to rpgs anymore. With rpgs the payoff for surviving a tough dungeon and beating a boss is that the story advances (a little). But clearing an area often requires hours of leveling up, and I don't have that time. It's much more satisfying to play a third or first person shooter for an hour than an rpg.
But let's not compare rpgs with shooters. Stories aren't as important in FPS. So if it is written poorly or rife with cliches, that is quickly forgiven as soon as the bullets fly and you are immersed in the action. Then the only things that matter are level design, AI, graphics, sound, control, and ultimately fun factor. Since many of these qualities are tied to the hardware, there is always the upside of technology advancing (the AI getting smarter, for example). For JRPGs, the story is the most fundamental component. So while they are no more cliched or derivative than any other genre, this becomes a bigger issue if story is the reason you play rpgs.
guns are the best thing to happen to RPGs, by the way.
you have to make sure that the syringe is in your item inventory, then just hold L2 and scroll to the syringe making it the equiped item. I don't know where exactly in the process you are getting confused, but maybe you don't have it moved to your items, or you are looking at the weapons side instead of the items side.
