Questions about what games you should get should be kept in the dedicated recommendations thread that's stickied at the top of the board.
If you want to make a thread regarding games with a longstanding online player community, try to phrase it a little less like a "should I buy?" question, and more like "what makes this game so long lasting?"
How are we supposed to know what we're getting at Christmas when it hasn't come yet?
Please remember to keep all discussion Xbox 360 related... as the header notes: any discussion of other systems (or games for other systems) can net you a moderation.Â
Please remember, this forum isn't called "General GameSpot Discussion". Discussion of reviews is perfectly appropriate in context of the discussion of the game itself. The topic of this thread isn't the relative quality of the games, though, it's about the quality of the reviews, and as such isn't appropriate for this forum.
We have a thread specifically for this type of recommendation question stickied at the top of the board. Please ask your question there. It helps keep the forum cleaner and more organized, and it makes room for other types of discussions that might otherwise be crowded out. Thanks!
Though the reminiscing is a lot of fun, the Wii forum is specifically for Wii related discussions. Since this discussion has nothing to do with the Wii, I'm going to go ahead and close it now.
Although I appreciate your attempt to put a slightly different spin on it, this is still a game recommendation topic and belongs in the stickied thread.
The Wii forum is a place for fans of the console to discuss it and its games. Please don't use this forum for console comparisons or to insult fans of the Wii or Nintendo. Thank you.
Intentionally breaking your console to take advantage of the warranty is absolutely illegal, and discussion of illegal activities is a no-go on GameSpot. Please don't ask these questions anywhere on this site.
