remember the 2nd pic i wanna see this game in action.. i like the seriesKeasy4
yea i saw that picture a long while back.... we will def hear something after Assasin's Creed comes out. (I beleive it's the same studio if i remember correctly).
[QUOTE="LittleYoshi"]I can't wait for Resistance2, and I heard it will be the last resistance game as well....jamejame
No, I'm almost positive it's a trilogy
excactly what i got from ted price he specifically said trilogy, same with ratchet. Ideally he wants a game ever year, but we'll see how that goes bc it takes more time to produce it.
Also the next game will not be called "rise of man" insomniac shut that down.
edit: didnt read the second page, fella above got it correct.
it will not happen, at least not with the HD-DVD accessory that is currently outas it's way to slow for games. For it to happen they would have toput outa totally new HD-DVD drive preferably built in the console itself.Wich would force 10+ million people around the worldto switch their units and MS would not want that to happen so no I seriously doubtwe will see 360 games on HD-DVD discs.Perhapsthe next generation thoughZimpanX
what he said, the hd-dvd drive can't read for games! only movies. this guy knows what he's talking about.
You're all insane! I'm buying the new PSP Slim and watching nothing but UMD movies on my big screen! :PGTA_Edm
haha no not insane just intrigue by new technology haha.
I believe the terminology used by NYTIMES is that it is limited to 18 months but can potentially be longer. I think all the stops are going to pulled out by Toshiba in the next year.Haphilli
I totally agree... honestly this war is going nowhere anytime soon. at least another year probably more since the mass market wont be ready for it for years itself. Toshiba will do what is necessary to not waste the money invested in the format. They have a powerful friend ont heir side to help also MS. This war will get ugly.
I also agree, you make a valid pointwith you a big factor is that Hd-dvd does support 720 and bluray only support 1080i/p.
and the whole 2 grand set was a hypothetical situation haha.
[QUOTE="teebeenz"][QUOTE="Pest-619"]They were paid to switch for 18months. Its only a temp deal to help boost HDDVD in the mean time.how come paramount dont wanna back BLU-RAY
Haphilli
I'm still waiting for that 18 months link.

there's proof, yes i know not a valid website to you, but same article was in NYTimes. They got paid off. And yesBlu-ray has outsold them in standalone from the past two months. Just take it they are ahead now. Not saying Hd-dvd wont come back.
And cheaper set dont mean anything, lets thinks shall we. I spend 2 grand on a HDTV, am i going to get a cheap hd player probably not. and yes it will appeal to consumer but their is not point to watch hd movies without a 1080p set which is not cheap.
also, of course Toshiba is refuding that blu has outsold their standalones, they have been only thing they have had to push that for months now. Without that all they have is tranformers since they don't ahve the rights to any Steven Spielberg movie (he chooses were they go not paramount).
Leave it to communism to save Hd-dvd haha.
I own so SACD's man they sound soo much better than cd's, too bad they were pricier.
and btw Sony didn't invent blu-ray, it's a bunch of companies includes such as pioneer, phillips, samsung, hitatchi, sharp, and lg electronics. versus mainly Toshiba and NEC. Do the math... lots more support.
so dont just point finger at Sony.
they were busy making warhawk....i bet in 2008 they will announced it outbreak201
yea Incognito probably have a portion of the studio starting production on TM, while the other is working on the bugs in Warhawk plus the DL content they hint so harshly on constantly.
Jaffe is doing the port but since he wants to work on "smaller" games my faith is in Incognito to bring it out.
SONY knows that the fans want it!
