I like the story, planets, exploration and gear much more on the first and characters, skill tree on the second.

Unfortunatelly it looks ugly... I hope that's because they're taking much more effort on the gameplay instead on the graphics.
Personally I think the game start shining at middle of chapter 2 and keeps getting better, I was starting to get bored of the map in chapter 1 lol. Also I like the end, although many seem to not like. But aren't there like 16 different endings? For me the game has started to fall off in chapter 2. I did every quest in chapter 1 and am almost done with 2, but I seem to be losing interest. I hope the first chapter was not the highlight of the game, because i have been reading here that 3 and epilogue are short and the ending is not very good. ME2 had me on the edge of my seat to the end of the game.

In Dragon Age 2 it's like all you do is just to be the great champion and that's all, not to save the world or anything just for personal glory lol. It doesn't matter if you try to follow this or that path, you'll end doing something like it or not because well, you must be the champion, not because that will change anything in the world but because it's cool :P
Very manly tears,I´m sure. :Phehe[QUOTE="Sordidus"]
It was so tragic and emotional that I even cried...

Hawke is extremely important, but he/she is not a God who determines the fate of the universe. If you want to play God, go play Spore.[QUOTE="edidili"]
Which in other word means you play as a character which is not important and your choices do not affect the world.

Especially in regards to your poor mother :( That alone made me hate the game.-Snooze-
So, the tragic and emotional part of the story made you hate it? :| What did you want out of the game, constant ass-kicking?It was so tragic and emotional that I even cried...
Finished it and both episodes, it's very good but I would not say that's the best fps, pc game.
[QUOTE="Skiveron"][QUOTE="khoofia_pika"] You REALLY expect me to narrate the entire story here? If you didn't understand it, it's your fault. Go play the game again. THe story lacked cohesion and direction, yes, but in the end, it all came together sectacularly. And the combat would've been difficult if, you know, you'd played the game on higher difficulties. khoofia_pikaThe Combat isnt "easy" , its just terribly designed. Mobs can swarm you from all around but the camera cannot be zoomed out. And of course, mages are op,with 1 healer and 1 dps mage you can win most of the fights first try, harder fight just depends on your initiation if your tank successfully pulled aggro and if your ranged took out their range fast enough. Its probably one of the most badly designed combat I came across in any RPG. And the story, well whether someone liked the story or not is subjective. Personally I enjoyed some of the subquests but the main story arc was terrible, your choices dont matter (HI my name is anders and high enchanter Orsino, sup? oh you are the champion of Kirkwall and you will aid us? TOO BAD. WE WILL DO WHAT WE WANT ANYWAYS, on the flip side. Hi my name is knight-commander Meredith, you will help us? well too bad, i am the last boss of the game regardless and I need to fight you LOL) And please, do not underestimate my intelligence or anyone else's by saying we didnt understand the story. There is nothing to understand, its a very shallow story. The combat, when played on higher difficulties, is very good. You have to play tactically and keep pausing to strategize. Not being able to zoom out is a letdown, but the combat is much better than Origins, I think, Also, the story is very god, if only you pa attention to it, And like Mass Effect 2 it wasn;t realy the main storyline the matter, rather the characters and the setting, both of which were awesome in DA2. The politically charged setting in DA2 was lively, immersive, and probably the best setting I've seen in any RPG game in a long time. Why do you keep saying if anyone pays attention would see the story is very good? lol If you like the story that's fine to you, but is that so hard to understand that there's probably many that actually think that there isn't a story on that game worth remember?
[QUOTE="Sordidus"]I don't expect you to narrate the story because there isn't really a story in that game, it feels like a bunch of side quests chained together without any point. Also dying just with the big dragon on normal difficulty is a reason to play the game again on higher difficulty level? Never asked you to play the game again on higher difficulties. I said the game would have been more challenging had you played it on Hard. And you should have paid more attention to the game, especially the conclusion. There was a lot of story in there. The problem is that it's hard to pay attention when everything is boring, I remember much more quests and conversations from the first Dragon Age than from this one, it was like it didn't had a "soul" it doesn't even seem a bioware game, and what can we expect from a game that it's made in a year?[QUOTE="khoofia_pika"] You REALLY expect me to narrate the entire story here?
