I just updated my ps3 to update 2.80 and I tried playing Call of Duty 5 and now it does not work. Won't read the discs,so I said "Oh well" and then I tried LittleBigPlanet and found the same error. I have tried every game I have and none of them read. So I resorted to some Final Fantasy 7 and it worked somehow... I turned it off and came back in 5 mins. I turned it back on and I put in Blitz the League. for PS2. It worked so I turned it off and came back in 5 mins. Put in LBP, and guess what... It didn't work. It didn't read, so I put back Blitz, now it didn't work. WTF!?!? I really need some help and you guys are the only ones who I can trust. Please help me!

We had a surge and it reseted my router and I just had a guy come in and he fixing my computer's connection but he must of put a sercurity setting on that is blocking connection for my ps3. I know the password for the router and I have been trying to fix it for about a half hour put I rely on you to help me, cuz you guys/girls know quite a bit more than I do. Any takers? Help is much appreciated.

How Do I set a static IP?

I did method number 1. And I decided to do Call Of Duty World At War. I found the 2 numbers, like so:

UPnP: 3478, 3479, 3074, 3075
TCP: 80, 443, 3074, 5223

What do I do with these numbers?

I have looked at multiple videos on Youtube about switching to NAT Type 2. Every video didn't make sense. I don't even have a NAT Type at all. It just says failed on the connection test. I have updated my ports to my ps3's IP adress and it still doesn't work. I have tries vitually everything and I try the connection test again. FAILED! What do you know eh? Failed again. I need alot of help because nearly 80% of all my games DO NOT WORK! Call Of Duty: WaW, doesn't work!! Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, doesn't work!! WarHawk, doesn't work!! I am a little pissed off because of this. Here are my Settings I have right now:
