Yeah, I have a feeling I'm going to love 3 more than I remember. I have to remember the infamous level, Cortana, in order to see why such hate. I like the list you made and yeah, it's pretty much the same for me. I did like Reach a lot. Actually, I love Reach. I understand the flaw, but I just love the game a lot. When I played the first one again, I remember why it was so amazing. So now, I am reconsidering to place 1 as my number 1 again.

Neogaf poster shares his thoughts on Halo 4 (No Spoilers)
Says campaign was 9 hours on Heroic, story much better, etc.http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=43775842&postcount=9801

After reading that, I'm getting so incredibly hyped. I am hoping the best for the review now. I like the post a lot, because he wasn't being biased at all and he was explaining in a really good details without giving away anything. I like the fact he acknowledged the other Halo games, especially what seems to be one of the most hated in here, Reach. Other than that, Thursday will be the day that this forum will crash. Good or bad, clock is ticking.
Reach is one of the most hated Halo games?? :? I thought it was fantastic. So do I. In fact, I'm playing all of them over again, and now, I'm up to Halo 3. I'm going to start that one tomorrow. But yeah, like the other post said, it's definitely the most pick to bash on in the series or at least from what I see. Anyway, this game is almost out and still shaken for the upcoming reviews. That IGN, even it's just them, hints really got me curious. It's going to be a long day...

I don't know about you, but the recent review for NFS scares me because it could effect this game. Oh man, Thursday is going to be heart-aching night.
I know I will still pick up the game, but the reputation is on the line.
Not going to lie, but this is scaring the hell out of me. Why? Halo 4 can be the victim to this....curse. Please!!!!
Sad that it didn't meet the score that was hyped. Nevertheless, I am still getting it along with others in a buy 2, get 1 free deal at Target.
Now then, heart is pumping for Halo 4 review. I hope to god that it will be like all other Halo in terms of score. Last hope!
Hey, I must admit, as much as I can't wait for Halo 4 and already preordered Halo 4 LE, I want to know something. For those who played it leak or knows everything from watching leaks, should I worry about the game like the direction or does it have what it takes to be the great Halo we all love? No spoilers of course, that will be unneccesary. Just need my confidence boost.

This goes to Resistance 3 and Killzone 3. I guess BF3 too as well, even though here no one really cares about the single player, but I do so. Homefront is another one.
Well, I can't go into greater detail, due to my time limit in here, but I'll give you some info. Multiplayer is pretty fun, though it's said that it's dumb down from K2, which I can agree in some degree. It's a fun multiplayer, but I have problems with its matchmaking system and playlist (though maybe there's an update that fixed that). Campaign is fun to play.
Now here's the bad part. The story is pretty weak and my main complaint is the storytelling. The cutscenes are at times unnecessary, low-res, and oddly transition. As for the low-res part, I mean that the sound effect is low and didn't really blast my surround sound, which is a downer. Also, the campaign is pretty short. I beat it in 4 hrs and 30 min and the ending is really done quickly.
There you have it. I personally give it 8.5. Not my favorite of this year, but it's worth to try.
