@doraemonllh1989 Agreed. Also who wants to put up with hunting one down. I'd prefer to wait for a bit and pick up a number of titles with the console of which many could be launch title that have dropped in price. Look at the 3ds, Still don't have one and when I finally get it i'll pick up a couple of the better titles and probably take advantage of some sale offering a gift card to the store I buy it from.
@Devils-DIVISION @BryanParksSuper I think it is Pioneer and Phillips, Phillips sounds familiar to the article I read. Xbox World is the only mag I knew that would realize news before online sites like this. Army of 2: Devil's Cartel, months before any word they wrote about it as a rumor.
@AceJakk I think the fact that we are finally encountering the forerunners does. They are always mentioned and assumed dead and gone, but now they are back and really want to see how the creators are in battle.
@Zacmaccraken His name is John. Master Chief is his title. Just like how we address leadership by general or captain. Have no interest in the game but choose to watch/read the review. If you didn't care you wouldn't comment. And obviously you don't know much about Halo from your post. Cheers!!
@cesarexec22 While I agree he is a hater that will probably camp out for Wii U, I don't think it is fair to compare the innovation of the tablet controller to the ps3 and 360 because they really aren't part of the same generation. They, like the wii, haven't changed up their controllers. If you are meaning the fact that the 360 and ps3 haven't changed much from the xbox and ps2 then ok, but I don't think the changing of controller for nintendo has been the best. I think from the nes to the n64 it was an improvement, but then it got weird with gamecube(but still enjoyable) and I don't like the nunchuk part of the controller and prefer just using the remote when I can. The fact that the wii U is making a controller that is similar to 360 is very telling that they understand gamers want some continuity.
Ok, people keep getting the math wrong lower in the comments. Use the full price of of a 360 with kinect not the sale price. That would be $299 for a 4gb w/kinect and 2 years full price of xbox live $120. That is rounded up $420.
This offer is $99 upfront and 2 years of xbox live at $15 a month instead of $5 which is $360. The total is $460 again rounding up the extra dollar. You are paying $40 dollars more.
Not saying I'm going to do this but in the end it all depends how long it takes you to come up with the full amount (assuming you want xbox live as well) and if $40 difference is worth not waiting. I personally would wait just because they always bundle cool stuff with the console later on or come out with a nice themed xbox. (R2D2 xbox anyone? Who cares if star wars kinect was crap.)
