Eid Mubarik

Well, it's Eid tomorrow and my reason for posting this blog today is because I might not be able to post it tomorrow.

Eid is a Muslim festival after the end of Ramazan where we celebrate, go out and meet people whether we know them or not, the young 'uns get money, and basically stuff ourselves after a month of fasting. I did all the fasts except two which the honest reason for missing is I didn't wake up in time :P

From top to down:

The Empire State Building, New York is lit up in green to mark the festival of Eid.

Everyone hugs everyone else and says, "Eid Mubarik" after the Eid prayer.

Bakers prepare for the end of fasting in Pakistan

And to squeeze some more stuff in, Fuse is being moved to a new server so I hope this means GameSpot will be more stable from now on :)

Valkyria Duel was under maintenance and they added a new server for some reason. I still haven't got an Anisette card, although every time I spend TP to get more cards I am disappoint. The Android version was released yesterday, but my clanking piece of machinery isn't compatible with it or the Android version of Max Payne. Bloo hoo hoo.

Eid Mubarik everyone :D

The Art of Storytelling: About Video Game Novels

About video game novels...
I love reading, but I haven't read a whole lot of video game novels. The main reason for this is that most of them are trash. It's not to say that all of them are trash, but the ones that are really good are few and far between. Of course, you can't expect everyone to write it as it was in the game. Video game novels usually have as same quality as the average movie-based video game.
Take Resident Evil: City of the Dead, a novelization of Resident Evil 2, as an example. I bought it the same time around as I was playing Resident Evil 2 with the intent of finally beating it, and from the first few pages (they were about Leon thinking he was going to be picking cheeseburger out of his teeth during roll call. That's not the Leon we know) it was awful. For some reason the characters spoke in italics as well. Maybe to fit in with the so-bad-it's-good voice acting of the game. :P

It's cool when video game novels have some information that isn't in the games. What's going through the character's head, some trivia, events that weren't described in great detail in the games, etc. Resident Evil: City of the Dead, awful as it was, had some scenes about the police chief trying to rescue Raccoon City's mayor's daughter after zombies had left her with her intestines hanging out. Splinter Cell's novelization told that Sam Fisher's fighting style is Krav Maga, something that the video game's didn't tell us until Splinter Cell: Conviction. Now that is something cool.
Since we're on the subject of the Splinter Cell novels... the first two were really good. They were tie-ins to the video games, after all. They even made it on the New York Times bestseller lists. But after Raymond Benson stopped writing them, Grant Blackwood took over, although like Raymond Benson he wrote them under the pseudonym David Michaels. The dude wrote Splinter Cell: Checkmate and Splinter Cell: Fallout and in case you're wondering, yes, they sure did suck. They were as unoriginal and unexciting as their names. They're known for their scene changes and spelling mistakes. Spliter Cell: Checkmate had Sam go to Ukraine, Iran, Dubai, and Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. That's a journey except neither of the locations really had anything and the book had glaring continuity errors with the previous book, Operation Barracuda. Splinter Cell: Fallout was the worst. Given that it wasn't based on any of the games in particular, it would have been really cool to describe the continuing adventures of Sam Fisher, but all it did was try to make its own story, fail miserably and halfway through just start writing the events of the game Splinter Cell: Double Agent. Of course, it offended me that it was against Muslims but it wasn't a very good book even if it wasn't. I think it was cool to include that Sam had an estranged brother, but it was without conclusion. I didn't bother to get Splinter Cell: Conviction's novelization or Splinter Cell: Endgame, but given that the author once again changed, I might as well.

The Metal Gear Solid novels were fine (they were also by Raymond Benson) but they didn't really do anything except put the game's events on paper. The rest of the Resident Evil books, just like City of the Dead, were awful. The Resident Evil novelizations are like zombies of the actual games, if you excuse the pun. It's sad that Resident Evil 4 didn't get novelized, but given how bad the previous ones were it's probably for the better. Caliban Clove was probably the best out of them because it expanded on the story of the first three games, but even then it wasn't much more than fair.

So out of all the video game novels I've read, I think only the first two Splinter Cell novels are worth a read. Besides them, almost all video game novelizations I've read aren't very good. The continuity errors and contradications in some of them (like City of the Dead) might offend fans, and at most they might be good for making less-known authors more well-known. Although books that have been turned into games like The Witcher are much, much better so they're more worth getting.

Valkyria Duel and Best of Valkyria Chronicles OST

A totally Valkyria Chronicles related blog.

Valkyria Duel

I got to play out Valkyria Duel (in Japanese) of course, and it's awesome like everything else in the franchise. Even the naysayers who were all saying stuff like, 'downgraded to browser game' and 'ruined the series' and 'betrayed our trust' were posting stuff on the Facebook page like, 'oh so great' and 'so much fun.' Except the ones that started whining that it probably won't get an English version, of course. Honestly, some people.

Valkyria Duel is a browser game with, well, Valkyria Chronicles characters. It's very slightly similar to other trading card games, except that this is better than all of them of course. There are two parts: one where you spend TP to make buildings and select character cards and then the second is BATTLE!

It features characters from all three games, which is awesome. The drill instructor from Valkyria Chronicles 3 runs you through the basics (in Japanese) so I can't understand a thing but oh well, just think of it as playing a game without cracking open the manual :P

Once I get the hang of gameplay, I will write a tutorial so keep an eye out for it :P

valkyria-duel-web-1340092477-006.jpg

aboutarea_point2_imgss.jpg

It's free and very fun, so you should check it out for sure. An Android app is releasing on July 30th, so that's good too.

Well, that's everything I guess. I'm currently playing Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. I love the game but it takes a lot of time and patience. Well, that's all I have to say for now. G'bye :D

Metal Gear marathon (?)

Noticed that I'm writing in GREEN?

I've been on a marathon (is that the right word?) of the Metal Gear series, and turns out Super-Poke-Bros is as well, which is a good thing. So before I start spewing my opinions about this series, I would like to introduce ... three more reviews I've written. :P

Tekken 3D Review - Score 8.0

Chrono Cross Review - Score 10

Michael Jackson The Experience Review - Score 4.0

Make sure you read that Michael Jackson review. The opening paragraph is hilarious and there's chuckles in between. I hope so anyway.

Snaaaaaa- Oh, you're OK. Phew.

By the way, the word 'marathon' is a bit uncomfortable for me so I'll just say 'playing through the series' from here on out :P

Metal Gear is a series that started on the MSX2 and went on to become one of my favourite series ever. I've even bought the games twice (in the case of Snake Eater, for the different, snazzier cover). Hideo Kojima is a genius. Obviously being on a series marathon and whatnot I should have reviewed the games to publish here, but I was too lazy to do so although I hope I can so I can publish them in my next blog :) Oh, and for this 'playing through the series' I got Metal Gear Acid 2 as well.

MGA2_box.jpg

Pity its cover isn't as good as the cover of the original Metal Gear Acid which has the best cover in the series in my opinion.

200px-Metal_Gear_Acid_Coverart.png

So now to share some 'Your time starts now' kind of opinion for this awesome series.

My favourite game in the series is... Snake Eater, although Peace Walker comes pretty close. In fact, apart from the Valkyria Chronicles series, Resident Evil 4 and Chrono Cross, it's the only game I've rated a 10 on GameSpot. I am so harsh.

My least favourite game in the series is...Portable Ops. It's not a bad game at all, and I had a lot of fun with it, but sometimes the camera ruins it for me. It would have made sense to make it top-down like the first three games but they didn't. Well, at least the developers put a good camera in Peace Walker. How generous of them.

My favourite protagonist in the series is...Naked Snake or Big Boss if you find the former disturbing. Dude with eye patch, dude with cool hair, dude with cool facial hair, dude who kills his mentor and finds out that he was tricked!

My favourite antagonist in the series is... The Boss. Such a sob story and all. Her voice acting was great too.

My least favourite antagonist in the series is...Vladmir Zadornov. Chapter 5 in Peace Walker was so annoying because of him. Seven missions just to run around and find him! It even put me off Peace Walker for quite a while.

My favourite boss fight in the series is... FEEEAAARRR! Ehrm, that's out of my system now :P But yeah, that boss fight with The Fear was really cool because you could do so much stuff like use Fly Agarics to poison him and trick the idiot into standing right next to you so you could shoot him when you used the fake death pill. The other favourite boss fight is the Peace Walker Battle.

The thing I miss most about the series is... The top-down camera. Although the new cameras aren't bad, I liked top-down :(

The best feature they added was...Crouching. I have no problem with crawling, but crouching is better.

I would share my stats and ranks and stuff for the games, but they are so bad I'd just be humiliating myself. :P

Oh, and IGN had this list of 25 things we love about the series:

MGS25.jpg

Anyone noticed my new banner and blog header? Yes, it's completely Valkyria Chronicles 2 now.

Oh, and OH MY GOD GameSpot fixed the levelling glitch. Oh joy! Oh joy!

Exam results and long live GLF

Hello.

... I have no idea how to start my blogs.

So, a few random stories. Before that, though, I reviewed two more games.

Rayman 2: The Great Escape Review - Score 9.0

Fate/Extra Review - Score 5.0

Now for the good stuff.

This is the 'long live GLF' part

First of all I finally won something I could get, and what I wanted: a Gallian Liberation Front shirt :D That's vague. Anyway, I won the Caption Competition there and all because I obviously posted the best entry that I posted a few blogs back, and everyone wuvved it.

Exam results

My exam results from the Board exams in March came, and I did pretty good. :D Congratulate me, or I'll have you banned from GameSpot before eating your soul.

Our forgotten RPG genre

By a miracle, a few of us might remember a game called Class of Heroes, localized by Atlus in 2009. It's a forgotten genre: a first person dungeon crawler turn based RPG. It's the kind that makes you you cry of nostalgia while playing. If not then you cry of frustration at the sheer difficulty. I loved it even though I never beat General Ed II. So one of my reasons for being so excited for Unchained Blades was that it seemed to be Class of Heroes with a playable difficulty. I got it now, and I like :D

Unchained-Blades.jpg

Better yet, MonkeyPaw games is localizing Class of Heroes 2. Hope it's playable :P

And lastly, the Valkyria Chronicles fan art.

tumblr_lwxf1mCRoy1r5rtaao1_500.png

You kids and your Pokedex...

Hello. This blog is about something special. But first, to derail you, I've decided to make a (not at all!) 'tutorial' for all the aspiring fan fiction writers I am sure are on this site.

*crickets*

Anyway, before we get started, I reviewed a few games and you'd better tell me my reviews are awesome.

Metal Slug Anthology Review - 8.5

gods Eater Burst Review - 8.0

Street Cleaning Simulator Review - 9.5 (Real score - 9.9. Community jokes rock)

Now to business, and some self-indlugence. Kinda. Maybe. I think. Whenever I see a new fan fiction for Valkyria Chronicles 2, I'm over the moon. Then I read it and seeing all the mistakes in gromer and punkchoolashun, I am very disappoint. However, I still leave a positive review because I think fan-writers deserve credit simply for writing it. But if you want to make your fan fictions better, here are some helpful (cough) tips from your friendly fan of Valkyria Chronicles. Let's see how many 'I see what you did there' faces you can make. Whoever gets the most of these 'I see what you did there' faces... wins!!

1. Avoid clich`es - they're old hat.

2. Do not use foreign words when there is a suitable English quid pro quo.

3. Words in brackets (however relevant) are unnecessary.

4. Please, please don't use Japanese honorifics in your Vocaloid fan fictions, user-chan.

5. Try to insert actions in the reporting speech. Don't do it like, "He said *coff* that he *coff* would help me *retch* improve my fan fictions!" *scuffle scuffle*

6. Everyone hates Mary Sue (near-perfect) characters, which explains why when you say, "Twilight" or "Edward Cullen" you get a trillion fujoshi fangirl squeals. (I'm not sure what the heck I just said. Better ask phoenixgainagel!)

7. Smileys aren't appreciated in fanfictions. It makes them go, "Would that half-naked caveman in Golden Axe ever have thought to use pictures to communicate?" Hmm... O_o is a cute smiley, but there are also :), :D,, and

8. Make it realistic. If you're writing a war story and a soldier's BFF gets blown up, he should say, "Holy (censored!" and not "No! He was such a good guy!"

9. Have you noticed that there are only nine helpful tips as of yet?

15. Do you have difficulty counting?

OK, now to real business. People are always going on about 100%ing their Pokedex, as if that's anything special *sneers* :P I've 100%ed what really matters... my Demonary!

DemiKidsGame.png

So yeah, I've recruited all the demons in DemiKids: Dark Version and DemiKids: Light Version. I'm watching their anime, and DemiKids: Dark Version is my second favourite game of all time behind a tie between Valkyria Chronicles 2 and Resident Evil 4. DemiKids: Light Version is also one of my favourite games, and Akira from Dark Version is one of my favourite protagonists, and I could go on and on. There are 384 demons in each game. This on a GBA game. That's crazy :D My Demonary is complete.

Step 1: Complete Demonary

Step 2: Conquer World

Step 3: ???

Step 4: Profit!

So that's all I wanted to say before I use any more cynicism and black humour, and finally, the obligatory Valkyria Chronicles fan art. Awesome!

Valkyria Duel announced as a browser game

I have good news. Well, depending on how much you love Valkyria Chronicles. Valkyria Duel was trademarked a while ago by those geniuses going by the name of Sega, and now there's some news on it by Adriasang. It's a browser game, card-based, and if you're a Valkyria Chronicles fan it's your lucky day because did I mention that it's completely FREE? And that it will have characters from all three games? And that maple cookies taste good?

241ef.jpg

241eg.jpg

241eh.jpg

241ei.jpg

241ej.jpg

241ek.jpg

Look beautiful, nien? And these screenshots don't even show the good part - that's in the trailer. What with Ghost Recon Commander and now this, I think I'm starting to like browser games again.

To quote Adriasang, "

According to the trailer, Duel has players build up battalion by collecting cards. You'll find over 200 character cards in all.

Your duties include developing your base camp, taking control of enemy territories, acquiring new troops by becoming a commander, and taking part in "3D character battles" featuring the same basic style as in the Valkyria Chronicle games.

As with most browser games, Valkyria Chronicles Duel is free to play, with item transactions.

You'll find the game's official site here(this is a clickable link)A user test is running from today through June 25.

In addition to the browser-based game, the official site mentions a "smartphone app" of some form, but it's not clear what this is at present."

There's a trailer on the official site.

I think it's lookin' great. I suppose some people might be disappointed that it's a browser game, but I'm certainly not and it's free and a spin-off, after all. And what can be better than all three games' characters together? :D

Now excuse me while I go celebrate... by playing Valkyria Chronicles... again :P

A moment's rest... before the next battle

Hi hi. It seems that GameSpot is somewhat stable now, but for how long? :P Well, I hope the glitches on Fuse are gone for good.

So, back to business. I got me a couple new games :D

Gungnir-Mayari-no-Gunshin-to-Eiyuu-Sensosega-mega-drive-collection1.jpglego-batman-the-videogame.jpg

Yessum, I got me Gungnir and Sega Mega Drive Collection and uh... Lego Batman for the PSP. Guess the Lego Batman 2 demo for the 3DS changed my mind about Lego games. They're both fun. Gungnir especially. I love how there's so much stuff on screen you don't even bother reading all the stats and just try to get behind the enemy and attack them from the back. To quote phoenixgaiangel, "it's somewhat similar to FFT (Final Fantasy Tactics) and TO (Tactics Ogre), but it has some tweaks to the SRPG formula (as expected from Sting~ :3 ) like the Wait/Delay system and Tactics Points. The story is somewhat similar to Yggdra Union in some aspects, but the narrative feels more like the classic J-SRPGs IMO. ^^" That guy knows more than he should :POne thing that annoys me is that you have to waste a whole turn to search item bags/loot bodies, but otherwise it's greatbig_smile.gif

Sega Mega Drive Collection is awesome because the Mega Drive is awesome. Some games like Streets of Rage are missing but it's definitely better than Capcom's collection at least. Sonic and Golden Axe are awesome fun.

Lego Batman is cool too. Extremely easy (you never even die, just keep on respawning), but it's supposed to be like that after all. The awful AI is still there, and it's glitchy, and there's some stuff that makes you go, "Are you kidding me?" but it's still fun. Kinda. Maybe. I think.

And finally, there was this competition on the Gallia Liberation Front (for a GLF SHIRT! Yeah!) to put a caption in the bubbles on Avan and Cosette's heads (from Valkyria Chronicles 2, obviously) in the scene where they're in the Old Campus. The last one is mine. Some of these are funny, some were obviously just trying to please the GLF guys, some are... bah.

I've also been playing Valkyria Chronicles 3 using this translation site I have to keep open - it's annoying! But no sacrifice is too great for playing Valkyria Chronicles :D The ingame translation is looking like it's coming along pretty well too.

valkyria3e20016.jpg

valkyria3e20015.jpg

So all in all - I'm not as upset as I was when Sega said they weren't localizing Valkyria 3. Still a bit though  ... and waiting for the localizations of Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time and Black Rock Shooter.

Off to play Gungnir again :D Have a good day.

From Sam Fisher to Gabe Logan, and good news Sega fans!

OK, first of all, from now on I'm gonna write in BLUE! Oh, and sorry to Aerobie for deleting my previous blog. I decided not to make a full blog after on this article(yes, it's a clickable link. Clicky click!) by Carolyn Petit. There are plenty of gamers who posted comments there that I agree with, all of them starting somewhat like, 'Anita is a fail.' OK, maybe not that, but this article, from Sam Fisher to Gabe Logan (I always wanted to say that, hah!), was extremely sexist.

Hehe. I think this is one of the most annoying things in discussing games. There are complex female characters, and either people who don't think so hear only from perverts or clearly have never checked out anything about a game except the cover. Lara Croft's Tomb Raider reboot IS almost all about character development. Most men in video games are pretty much the same, anyway - big muscles and witty one-liners. Sure, there are cool ones like Leon Kennedy and Naked Snake and Sam Fisher, but in first-person games in particular the male protagonist has almost no character. As for them being sexualized, it's mostly what players make of them rather then what developers mean them to be. Lara was one ugly, fearless, memorable hag before Tomb Raider legend. As for them being damsels in distress - then what about fairy tales and all? Now what, the princess rescues the knight? I'm not saying women should be all helpless in video games (and they're not mostly, just look at Raine Bouchard in Resistance: Retribution), but really, a guy being a damsel in distress would be far, far worse. Ashley's character would have been just as annoying if she was a guy because of what she'd been through (she's one annoying b****, but Resident Evil 4's still a beautiful game) and I guess Janzen in Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror IS the equivalent of Ashley in Resident Evil 4 - people just don't notice it about men, for some reason.

And men are just as stereotyped, objectified, sexualized... They just don't get worked up over it. (Notice that there is no such word as masculinist in the dictionary) For every real-character male protagonist in a video game, there are ten who are just walking muscle. I've read in plenty of gaming interviews (the Metal Slug: Anthology interview, although of course they're not serious) developers wanting to put in male characters just to get more female fans.

Video games having more male leads is not sexism - most video games have men kicking the s*** out of other men. If a video game has women kicking the s*** out of men, or men kicking the s*** out of women, that's sexism. All in all, things are OK right now and if a video game CAN have a good balance of male and female characters (like Valkyria Chronicles!) then why not? But even if it don't, it's fine. There are enough characters of each gender. And games aren't meant for just one of either gender as some trolls said in the comments. They're only not meant for people who take them seriously. I doubt this Anita woman even played any game. And by the way, thanks for the support with my trolling, Whitebloodsun. Too bad you said you're leaving next week. You're so nice. Dangit. :(

On a more cheerful note, Gungir for the PSP has been released. Yay! :D

Gungair-PSP-GamersBliss-600x300.jpg

This game does look great. I have to have this.

Since I'm playing through the Splinter Cell series and sobbing uncontrollably over the lack of a Valkyria Chronicles 3 localization (there's some good news on that, I'll get on to that in a minute) I finished Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow yesterday (tomorrow yesterday, hah! :P ) and I hearted every second of it. Splinter Cell is one of my favourite series.

Splinter-Cell-Black-List.jpg

Oh, and I'm glad Splinter Cell: Blacklist which was announced at E3 is bringing back stealth elements because Stealth Action is my second favourite genre. I'm pretty interested in Blacklist. However, I'm kinda disturbed by the 'Jadid Basecamp' screenshot. If this game has killing Pakistanis just because they're Pakistanis, then I'm abandoning the series. Just like I abandoned the Splinter Cell novels after the fourth one was anti-Islam. Not surprising considering the second author who wrote it was a troll. The novel is known for its spelling mistakes, grammatical errors and scene changes. Too bad since the first author was great.

Now for some happy news for Sega fans. Like me! :D

valkyria3e20019.jpg

valkyria3e20017.jpg

Yessum, fans of the game have started a fan translation(that's clickable link too... sorry)project. Hope they don't drop this because I want to play Valkyria Chronicles 3 in English. Yes I do.

Second of all, Sega Europe is not closing down(and that too, is clicky) as rumours have said. Yay! Go Sega! This should teach you a lesson - you've been given a second chance to localize Valkyria Chronicles 3 officially. NOW LOCALIZE VALKYRIA 3 OFFICIALLY!

the+Expendables.jpg

I watched The Expendables, and it's such an awesome movie. While Jason Statham and Jet Li were awesome as always, the real star of the show was Stallone :D Can't wait to see how The Expendables 2 turns out.

madagascar-3-poster_400x556.jpg

Madagascar 3 was released a few days ago. I hope I get to see it in the cinema. The first movie is my favourite animated film and while I think the second was a little worse, I still loved it. Mort is so cute!

GameSpot's been broken for a few days, especially Fuse. In fact, it isn't even funny calling it the Fuse monster anymore and I think DangerousRobber had a good idea of brainstorming solutions in his blog. Sadly don't seem to me that anyone really cares enough for this. Maybe we can reform the Fuse Resistance group (inside joke only a few can giggle at) for this :P

Finally, awesome Sega fan work done by BluSonikuu - a Sega Genesis plushie, complete with plushy cartridge and plushy plushy controller.

581332_10151026069851796_544242419_n.jpg

Hope I haven't been a bore. Good luck to everyone with whatever they're doing.

The Road So Far...

If you're unlucky enough to have never watched Supernatural, the title is a Supernatural reference. I finished Season 4 of Supernatural a few days ago and can easily say... that it's not as good as Season 1 or 2, but still great. Some episodes like 'Family Remains' and the one in which Sam and Dean find out that they have a third brother were awesome. Didn't like what the show made of religion, but anyway - 'The Monster At the End of This Book' was hilarious :D Got to listen to 'Carry on Wayward Son' again at the finale. Awesome song.

Next, I gave comic books a try for the first time (they were included in the Extras of Ghost Rider for the PSP) and it was awful. So awful in fact, that I can never check the extras out again. I was expecting them to be something like manga, but it was horrible. 'Hey, look! My step-father died seconds ago in a stunt jump over 30 cars, so I'll do it myself and tell Jane So-and-So I did it for her! Yeehaw!' And the colours were annoying, and it was even more vague and non-directional than manga. Damn you Johnny what's-your-middle-name Blaze.

I tried reading manga again because MobileManga has FINALLY removed the ads from their site - yay! - but I haven't read them for so long that I had to start every single one of them over again. That's not saying much because I'm just reading Yu Gi Oh and Vampire Knight.

And I tried watching the anime of Black Rock Shooter because the OVA was great, and Gosick as well, but couldn't without getting interrupted and annoyed. Oh, and the good news is that I found the entire anime of Shin Megami Tensei: DemiKids with subtitles. The bad news is that there are 54 episodes, which would take me exactly a year if I was lucky enough to watch one episode a week. And I won't. Sadness.

As for video games... I've been replaying the entire Splinter Cell series because 2012 is Splinter Cell's 10th anniversary! Woo! Go Sam Fisher - half-ninja, half-ghost :D I also played the demo of Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes on the 3DS. It was pretty long, taking half an hour. I hated the only Lego game I played (Lego Indiana Jones for the Nintendo DS) but this was cool. The first cutscene was hilarious, the gameplay was 'just plain fun'. The 3D Effect was decent. One thing to complain about is that the friendly AI is awful (Hey, Batman's getting the s*** kicked out of him. Robin's just gonna stand and watch) but this game does seem kinda cool... ish big_smile.gifKingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is getting released in July, which is a good thing because 2012 is the tenth anniversary of Kingdom Hearts as well. Maybe. I think. Two of my favourite series :D

June 10th is also Tesla Day. Thanks to krishna_V, I got to read a pretty long - and somewhat hilarious - comic about Nikola Tesla who invented nearly everything other people took credit for. Except for Valkyria Chronicles, which is mine! All mine! I made it! And for that I deserve that Developer Emblem, Gamespot! Ahahaha - who am I kidding?

Anyways, out of all the E3's I think Sony's was the best because it wasn't about dancing. Oh man, I wish I'd gotten that screenshot from Ubisoft's conference where it paused with all the dancing girls looking pretty stupid. Maybe next year Sony could bring AC/DC and Valkyria Chronicles 4, I'll definitely say they won all the E3's for the next ten years.

After looking up all my favourite video game soundtracks, my list of favourite soundtracks has become:

1. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (The Price of Freedom)

2. Valkyria Chronicles 2 (Ship Battle)

3. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent (New York High Stress/JBA HQ High Stress)

4. Tekken: Dark Resurrection (Ground Zero Funk/Snow Castle)

5. DemiKids: Dark Version (Battle Theme)

So that's about it. Time to watch Season 5 of Supernatural :D
