Heck yeah, preach it brotha. While consumers should be smarter than buying these things, it doesn't detract from the fact that these business models are absolutely terrible when it comes to making things so that people can have fun; it takes the "game" out of gaming and turns it into pure money and numbers.

And just another reason to support indie games? I think so.

I love these videos! Yeah that first one is like spelunky but looks even more masochistic!

I agree very much with your statements on innovation, but Mr. Wilson, stop trying to justify terrible company decisions. I'm buying Torchlight 2, not Diablo 3, because the design seems out of touch with your fan base and pretty much saying "Too bad" to all people complaining about Diablo 3. I'm sure Diablo 3 will be great, but I'm not going to support a team that doesn't listen to its fan base. Sorry.

Gotta love some gamers, doing horrible things to give us all a terrible stigma. Go team! -.-

Great article! Cool to get a glimpse of how the writing process actually works, and that they are drawing stuff from cultures all around the world.

I can't agree more with your article...Ezio was great in ACII, but in Brotherhood and Revelations he simply felt like a machine to push the plot.

So true. I love the feel of fighting games, but I never got into them when I was younger, and I find them impossible to decipher on my own. An online training mode would really help.
