Heck yeah, preach it brotha. While consumers should be smarter than buying these things, it doesn't detract from the fact that these business models are absolutely terrible when it comes to making things so that people can have fun; it takes the "game" out of gaming and turns it into pure money and numbers.
I agree very much with your statements on innovation, but Mr. Wilson, stop trying to justify terrible company decisions. I'm buying Torchlight 2, not Diablo 3, because the design seems out of touch with your fan base and pretty much saying "Too bad" to all people complaining about Diablo 3. I'm sure Diablo 3 will be great, but I'm not going to support a team that doesn't listen to its fan base. Sorry.
So true. I love the feel of fighting games, but I never got into them when I was younger, and I find them impossible to decipher on my own. An online training mode would really help.
