Awesome article. As a Christian, I totally see video games as creative ways of learning not just more about killing things, but exploring my own beliefs and actions. Games like Mass Effect take my hypothetical beliefs and help me see how they would play out in desperate situations, while games like Okami show me God's gift of creativity and the beauty that inspires people to create. The church does need to mature, and treat video games not like some vile, evil disease but a way to express ourselves.

Never got the chance to play DOTA, and I play LoL, but this looks really fun! Don't know if I'll drop money for it if it's full price since LoL is free, but this looks really interesting.

Final Fantasy XIII's song "Lightning's Theme" is a great example of music used right; highlighting a character's regret turned into motivation to move forward.

Thanks for being a voice of reason, Gamespot. Just like Sweeny Todd wasn't encouraging children to murder and bake people into pies, Duke Nukem is not encouraging sexism - it is merely parody and stereotype for over-the-top humor.
