I will admit I don't know much about Hinduism but the problem tends more to be when a government is run by religious ideologies rather than the religion itself. So I'd guess that argument fails as wells. But like I said I haven't really studied too in depth Hinduism.

I'm pretty sure that the Puritans had a compulsive desire to "cleanse" the "infidels" because they weren't following the Lord God's word.

woah.. taking it personally........ I did say i game on my PC. However i refuse to dedicate myself on it or take it as a hobby. I get on this forum for the lulz and i get on my laptop to chat listen to music and a whole bunch of things. For me a Pc is a convenience not a gaming console. :| there's too much stuff to do on it more fun that playing games on it honestly for me to say i'll play games on it. Though i still do game on it every once in a while i honestly rather play handheld while i use the computer. PS i love dancing i'm not trowing the life thing on you guys. Fair enough, I agree with the "partying anmd getting drunk alot"=/= a life logic. But if you are not that into gaming, why do you have any real say in what platform s better quality-wise. I don't tell gearheads a certain sportscar is better because it takes less effort to use because I don't care that much about automotive performance, I don't tell gun enthusiasts a certain gun is better simply because its easier to learn because I don't care that much about firearms as a hobby. The way I see it, whenever the industry of a hobby prioritizes the casual hobbyists opinion over the hardcore hobbyists opinion, is the moment that hobby becomes mainstream crap.

The simple fact is, hardcore gamers know their stuff more, they have a better veiwpoint on what is good and what isn't, as with anything, we don't let footsoldiers run the miltary, we don't let Janitors at a corporation run the company. And we shouldn't let people who think "I just don't care that much about gaming" dictate the direction of electronic gaming.

No, its because I enjoy my system, love it, and wish more people realized how awesome it is, and I know part of the reason it isn't is because of idiots like LoosingEnds spreading lies and idiotic arguments to make console gamers feel better about their platform.

You know what does make me annoyed, my roomate plays PS3, I tell him and show him cool things like graphics and framerate on PC, he says "I don't care,", but then he gets psyched about PS4 because it will have better graphics, don't you think being in denial and having double standards regarding PC's advantages is a bit more of an insecurity than someone just defending their hobby with facts?

Sounds like to me you need to learn that there are things in this world you can control and things you cannot. You can't control what LooseENDS says or thinks, you can't control what your roomate thinks or get's excited about.

There is nothing you can say or do that will convince them about the PC, you need to learn to accept the things you cannot change and move on. Some things you can change and you should try to if you can, but this "issue" isn't one of them.

And LoosENDS is just a no life troll, why people keep giving him attention is beyond me. That's all he wants, just ignore him and he will go away. The sooner people realise this the better.

People complain about PC's being over-priced? Well I got my rig for $700, some NON-GAMING apple PC's are over $1000, so no, f*ck apple computers. Mac's are overpriced trend machines hyped by Hipsters.

Please you have those kind of people in any platform base. You still have people who think the cell is the most powerful thing ever to hit gaming. But you also have some pretty dignified people in every userbase and it's these people that can really tell you things. Not saying i'm one but i'm not a blind fanboy either.

I also had a PS3 and loved all my time on it, gave me some sweet gaming experiences. got a 360 and played it almost never and sold it. Got my PC and I'm addicted. A big problem is you have people buying the crapiest of rigs for the bare minimum just so they can say they game on PC and then start the complete bashing of everything else. And they shed bad light on a lot of others. But at the end of the day PC gamers are going to be more defensive because they have spent a considerable amount more on their systems and need to feel justified in the purchase.

I've played a 360 plenty of times, in fact I owned one before I got my PS3, I didn't enjoy my 360 as much as my PS3, doesn't mean 360 is a bad system. Just not the system for me, and you know what? That's fine.

PC and mobile are killing consoles together, its not just one or the other.

My vision of the future, powerful PC's will run games that are very hard to run (the Crysis's of the future so to speak) and stream them (On-Live style) to Tablets, Smartphones, and other mobile devices. As a blanket prediction, we will be playing DirectX12, FULL HD (1080p or 1600p, whatever is full HD in the future), resource heavy, graphically/structurally complex games on mobile devices.
