As much as hermits try to deny it, PC gaming is expensive. I chose to spend my money on other things instead of upgrading my PC, and it can no longer run the latest games. I can live with consoles, though I'm having trouble readjusting myself to dual analog aiming, It is so clunky.meetroid8
You want to game, and you want a computer to do things like use this website right? Well, a $400 console+400 to $500 non-gaming PC=Price of a badass PC Take into account the more money you spend via online services and/or $10 more per game, its more money in the long run. All you are capable of seeing is a $400 console versus an $800 PC (or most of you console fanboys lie and say a decent PC is at least $2000 or some ridiculous number). But you fail to see the big picture, that gaming PC doesn't just replace your console, but your computer as well, and costs less in the long run, and no, you won't have to upgrade ever year, that's another rumor Dr. Ignorant.

Well it does control much better with a keyboard and mouse, but that's still silly.

PC taking a console-based multi-plat and doing far better=Console win? Do you console fanboys ever NOT twist logic and facts in your favor?

I do a little, but I don't enjoy it very much.

I don't enjoy using m/kb and I can't get MotionJoy to work properly for the life of me.

Pug-Nasty
There are PS3 style controllers for PC than plug right in and play, I have this one http://www.gamingzap.com/speedlink-strike-pc-usb-ps3-style-controller.html Plus if you actually gotta adjusted to M/Kb you would probably like it more, but you probably used it for an hour or so, without fully getting used to it, and wroe it off as "Well this just sucks".

- Tons of games release every year for the HD twins that don't come on PC. Tons of Racing Action, Fighting games are just not on PC.

- I work on a computer all day, I don't want to game on one also.

- A decent gaming computer is 2 to3 times as much as a console.

- A good-great gaming computer is 4-8 times as much as a console or more.

- If you buy a console it is gtg with no upgrades for 5+ years.

- I like gaming on a big HDTV (I know you can hook a computer up to HDTV but that kinda defeats the purpose. Computers should and are used on ultra high resolution monitors)

- Same room multiplayer is way better on consoles.

1. This is opinion to an extent, and I can see what you are trying to say. But to say that "Tons of games" come out more for consoles, no, a little more, liking those exclusives more, that is actually a legitimate reason to an extent. 2.Why does this matter? Is there some kind of magical taboo on your PC because you also work on it? Wouldn't being able to work and play technically superior games on the same device be a plus, because it's a more powerful all-in-one device? Isn't it less convenient to have to get off your PC and boot up your console to play? As opposed to exiting your work "program" or whatever, and then just double-clicking an icon and "bam" your gaming? 3&4. Console, $300 Xbox 360 or a $400 PS3 + $300-500 work PC (conservative estimate)=$600-$900, Good PC= $600-700 good for 3-4 years, monster PC=$800-$1100 4-5 year lasting. Did you fail math? 5. True, but for what? Sub-hd, endless, over abundance of repetitive sequels, choppy and gameplay worsening 30 fps or less framerate, closed and restricted online with less players and no mod support, less indie games, and higher cost per game, among other things... 6. So you say console is better for using HDTV's because even though PC's can you don't see the point because monitors allow higher res's? Well, Mr. Trollogical, first, HDTV's cost less per inch of size (32 inch HDTV is less than a similar size monitor considerably), and you will still get higher res's out of it because good HDTV's are 1080p and almost all console games run at 720p and often times even lower resolutions, but your PC will take FULL advantage of REAL 1080p, I PC game on an older SHARP 32 inch HDTV that also has my Xbox (which I do occasionally play) and Digital cable plugged in. 7. I guess a little bit of an opinion, but what about a LAN party? Have you ever played at one? No? Doesn't that mean you are arguing against something you know little about? Yes? Well I will let it slide because most console superiority supporters don't know little to nothing about the aspects of PC Gaming they bash. P.S. Hear is the real reason you don't PC Game, you are complacent with a mediocre product, despite a console+work computer setup costing nearly the same in the short term and more in the long term than an all in one Gaming PC. And hide behind a small list of exclusives and weird excuses ("but I work on my PC" WTF????) to justify it, I don't care what you "think" AKA were misinformed, the PC has plenty of quality games in EVERY genre, either PC exclusives or technically superior multiplats.

I'm a long time guest to the forums, but as a PC Gamer, this thread annoys me, here is what I've heard: I don't like unique games like minecraft, unimaginative third person shooters like Uncharted for the win! Price is more important than quality, because I am a cheap bastard with no standards. I don't care about graphics, although I argue with people that own other consoles about graphics, also I'm probably gonna buy new consoles for graphics and hardware (hypocrisy). My friends play consoles, and I let other people dictate my lives, plus, I'm too scared to try and introduce my friends to a better experience. I would jump off a bridge as long as they did because I am a follower, but it's PC gamers that are truly lifeless tools  . I'm not educated in PC, even though literally 12 year olds can figure it out (example:me when I was young, my dad introduced me to PC gaming), even though I'm educated enough to maintain a PC I use to view this site (which is no easier than a gaming PC). And I can't build one because I lack the mental capacity to slide cards into slots and plug-in wires. Graphics are the ONLY advantage to PC, not counting cheaper games, higher framerates AKA smoother performance AKA more comfortable playability, much more/better control options (Mouse/keyboard without bad emulation and adapters, and all console controllers and motion control versus just one kind of controller and motion controls), more indie games, 100% free online that isn't one easily hacked, corporate controlled network *cough* PSN *cough*, the best version of all well-coded multiplats, customizability, the ability to never be outdated via upgrades (which only need to be done every 4-5 years if you're smart in your purchase), the ability to use monitor/desk setups AND couch setups via HDMI cords, wireless mouse/keyboard and gamepads, ability to do every non-gaming computer function (FULL internet capability etc...), being an all-in-one device, and advanced, super large scale simulators like ARMA, FSX, the DCS games, mods AKA free playermade DLC, higher palyercounts and faster online, MMO's, RTS's, and the ability to be anything from a super-modest indie gaming casual machine to a multi monitor, 3D, surround sound juggernaut of course. A $600-700 all-in-one Gaming capable PC with $50 or less games is "more expensive" than having a $300 console, $400-500 utility PC, and $60 games, and in some cases monthly fee's for basic online gaming features. Consoles have HDTV's..*facepalm, HDMI cord genius!! I don't have to think about things like upgrading (upgrading to a new console) or maintain ing a computer with defrags, anti-virus and such (things you do with your non-gaming PC anyway) PC Gamers insult us by bragging facts (some of us do, but console gamers do it to us too, and their facts are usually WRONG unlike ours, "selling more makes something automatically better", "I can play in 1080p too!", "Gaming rigs cost [insert ridiculous, thousands of dollars number] minimum", "You have to upgrade for $200 every year".) Local Multiplayer...newsflash PC Games can have splitscreen (insert hateful, childish, stereotypical drivel about not wanting to be a fat, lifeless, virgin nerd) I'm not that into games, yet I'm a member of a forum solely for gaming. That's it so far...
