[QUOTE="percech"]Your arguments are completely flat and redundant. It's all been said before. Ask a mod to lock this thread and try again.WickoSicko

His thread title is right.

Idiots saying how they have Activision "boycotted forever" and will never touch any game from them again. Then that special month of the year comes and every one of them buys CoD.

Of course you would come to spew crap about CoD being perfect, and anyone who criticizes it is wrong. Don't listen to this guy, he is the biggest CoD fanboy in the forums. You can't see anything wrong, outdated, or repetitive about the series? Can't see that it owes its current success more to marketing and appealing to unskilled players? No? Well then there you go, you are stupid. I haven't bought a CoD since WaW (CoD4 was great, so I thought the next one would b good,I was wrong) I have played a little bit of each new one at friends houses just to see if they changed...nope.

You have a skewed veiw of Battlefield BTW, when I play on most maps with 64, 40, or 32 players, there is very little waiting, its alot easier for you view CoD as the best if you know nothing about other games.

If I PAY for a wii copy of SS, and play it on PC, how is that wrong? The developers and Nintendo still get money. Just because some lawyers say its discouraged in a EULA does not maike it immoral.

Heirren

he's just butthurt and at a dead end argument wise.

Actually I'm not. I stand by what I said. Let's start here; name me a pc game that is as well designed as mario galaxy. Please do not list any buggy/games that are continually patched to fix BROKEN gameplay.

MG2 is good, but it's also very simple, and its very easy to make it with zero bugs, but games have gotten more complicated, and it's almost impossible to completely debug a game.

Your logic= Awesome game with bugs is worse than a decent, simple game with no bugs

Sorry, but you just concocted some twisted logic that simply because it's bug free, MG2 is the greatest game ever. Not everyone wants a simple, cartoony platformer from a tweaked perspective to be the end-all-be-all for games.

If your upset that you can't enjoy anything but childish games, deal with it yourself, don't try to be an butthole and act like MG2 is better than every RTS, FPS, MMO, Racer, Fighter, and RPG made in the past decade.

There is nothing wrong with loving MG2, but when you can't enjoy anything else as much, and you are not a kid, and you bash everything else you need to grow up, expose yourself to more mature games.

People like you are the reason some people still don't respect gamers, they think games are still for children, and childish-minded people. Even games like Minecraft have creative potential, and can be far more compelling than jump on little spheres all day in MG.

[QUOTE="AzatiS"] What? Now is illegal when you little ninties cant handle the truth.... Listen another true story... There isnt a single law that says if you own the original copy of lets say ZELDA SS , you cant play it or put it or whatever to a different drive than Wiis.... period!! Because to speak about this its a SW taboo doesnt mean its illegal in many ocassions. Its not!! So please dont say me about respect here.. I didnt say anything wrong on my above statement.rasengan2552

Laws or not, it is morally wrong as well. The money from wii/wii game sales help fund the jobs that put the game together. I'd be surprised if it was legal to do so.

I asked you to have a little respect in the way in which you addressed me. It just isn't necessary["think before you talk"].

listen to this wuss express his bias by bringing out the "morals" card lol. Just face it. PC can function as an alpha Wii.

I wouldn't go that far. Perhaps you meant BF3 or ARMA 2.

jun_aka_pekto

Uh...Crysis definitely has bullet drop, at least in the PC version, try to snipe someone like 800 yards away, the bullet drops alot.

I'll take your word for it. I'm not even sure how far away 800 yds is in Crysis. The farthest I've ever sniped in Crysis is at the Level Relic across the river from the KPA camp using the Assault scope.

There is your problem, try shooting down into the village in the second level (where you fight two tanks and rescue the hostage girl) from the secondary objective on the hill.

Mario Galaxy is better than any pc game ever released.

Heirren

I'm being serious. I've only just started putting a lot of time into the game. I've played it here and there in the past, but never owned a wii until recently. It is the current game I'm really diving into at the moment. Incredible game design in every aspect.

But how much PC experience do you have?

[QUOTE="AppleJudgement"] What games do you prefer on PC that the Wii might not have an advantage in or vice versa? What is if someone like the conduit better than Crysis? Obviously they will explain (in some way) of why that is. Maybe Crysis shooting is bad, or as I heard before, terrible plot and etc. That's what the threads about.jun_aka_pekto

Meanwhile Crysis has a good mix of open and focused levels, punchy weapons with challenging recoil, customizability, ballistics and bullet drop, along with cool features like the nanosuit, physics that allow lol-inducing antics and destructability, and YES, ALSO far better graphics.

Having said that, there is no game as approachable, easy to learn, and party-friendly as Wii Sports on PC.

Not really a good comparison, neither are competing with the other, and their focus is vastly different.

PC: Large scope of games ranging from querky indie games to the most technologically advanced games.

Wii: Gaming designed for only two people, casual gamers, and nintendo franchise fans. Focuses on nostalgic titles, and casual motion games.

Both are highly underrated. In a perfect world, only PC and Wii should exist, because PC does harcore gaming and technological advancement the best, and Wii does casual, party, and "simply fun" gaming the best, meanwhile Xbox 360 and PS3 get all the attention when they just half-ass both hardcore and casual games.

Lol at Crysis versus Conduit, and then you say Crysis's shooting mechanics suck? Have you even played it? Because The Conduit is the game (I played it) where you can't even aim nearly high enough to shoot enemies above you, its like your character has a injured, arthritic neck that can't hit enemies up high, where many enemies come from. [QUOTE="topgunmv"]

The crysis warhead shot is on a train too.

topgunmv

I thought the comparison was between UC3 and HL2. There are parts of HL2 early on with trains or at least the wreck of trains. Fair is fair.

They posted that warhead shot because wasdie said if uc3 was rendered in 1080p with some added aa and af it would beat the best looking pc games.

Yes, but that's the problem, consoles aren't powerful enough to do that, so Uncharted could be the best looking game ever, but because its locked to weak consoles it never will.
