@pcgamerlaszlo: True in a way.....but it's the same product but with a different name

And you only have TWO choices for a CPU

@pcgamerlaszlo: There's only so many hardware components you can buy to upgrade your PC. Intel or AMD for cpu

Or AMD or Nvidia.....it's not like you have MUCH choice.....but I guess it's better than buying a new piece of hardware

While Returnal was critically successful I feel like the gaming community as a whole didn't appreciate it enough

The game is PURE 3rd person shooter greatness. Minimal Story and cut scenes, which used to be a big gripe with the gaming community about too much cut scenes and game being movies.

It really feels like a game by gamers for gamers, and while I think it did OK commercially, it really should be talked about as one of the all time great games of this Gen.

But I also think Control is one of the greatest games ever made, so who gives a shit about my opinion.

@davillain: Because at some point it shouldn't matter how much you pay or how you pay to play games.

A bad game is a bad game. It doesn't matter if it's $70 or $15 a month.....or on sale for $20

I might not be Angry if I paid dirt cheap for a game or played it during a free trial. But it's still a bad game, so I wasted my time and had a crap experience.

I mean take Astro Bot....it's a free game but if I had paid $70 for it I would at least be able to say it's a great game, just too short and not worth the price (LOTS of games from the PS3/360 fit this description). So I could realistically say wait for it to go on sale for $20.....because it's still a GOOD GAME!!!!!

Does that make sense? A bad game is a bad game no matter the price or entry to play.

@girlusocrazy: We must be using different Reddits because I don't really have those problems. But I like to use it on a phone or Browser.

Not sure what pay to win means on reddit. I've never felt pressure to buy anything.

I really like the gaming communities on Reddit. Especially retro ones.

MS wants Money. They don't care where it comes from.

You don't spend $70 billion plus and just release games on a losing platform. COD is already crap, making it exclusive would just kill it off sooner

@davillain: 10 years?! Try almost 20

Not only have I witnessed the downfall of this site, but the complete change in how internet culture and information finding works

Forums used to be a gold mine of information and people helping each other out......now it's old people hanging on by a thread.

Reddit does a pretty good job of replicated old forums. I'm not really into discord but that's another alternative

Great Game but I would consider Streets of Rage 2 the masterpiece in the series

its ok for xbox to buy the entire third party developer but not ok for sony to buy one game exclusively?

Please, stop with this one game BS. Sony has been buying exclusivity since day 1 they entered the market and do more exclusivity deals than any other company.

I'm old enough to know that I bought Tomb Raider on the Sega Saturn and was looking forward to the sequel UNTIL Sony bought the exclusive rights to a multiplat game for the next few games and have been doing it for nearly 3 decades.

It's the same crap from MS and Sony

Either MS buying PUBLISHERS or Sony signing deals.

It's just Xbox has lost hard two gens in a row and the MS shareholders want their money back, that's why xbox releases all their games on everything.

Sony and Nintendo wooped ass with hardware and MS is trying to change the game to software.

Let's see if it works

I dont understand the Hype for Stalker 2. The last Stalker game was in 2009 and the Developer's last game was in 2016 and has a 63 on Meta.

To me this is not a good sign
