Least favorite system GBA, but I loved the Star Wars Pod Racing game on it.

The way I see it the industry is moving to consumers only playing a handful of titles. Seems like the majority of people only play one or two games.

So I think people will gravitate to what ever platform is the preferred platform to play that one game on.

So people that play the most popular live service game, may just play it on their phones.

I dont see a new xbox happening, I don't see PlayStation having PS only games anymore. I still see nintendo being nintendo.

For me I'll get a PS6, play a few games on it, make it my home media box, and play older games on older hardware.

@sakaixx: I LOVE Control. I even got the platinum Trophy on PS4, played through all the DLC and started another play through on the PS5 with the free upgrade.

The atmosphere and vibe are right up my alley. The super powers are really fun to play with, and oh my gosh the secrets you uncover if you explore are phenomenal! Those VHS tapes with the puppets....chef's Kiss*

I also like that the game didn't hold my hand, with the story and level design. The Oldest House is disorientating and difficult to navigate, the map doesn't help much and I had to rely on signs and context clues in the level to navigate. Which fits in so well with the world and feel of the game.

Is it a perfect game? No. There's some performance issues, and the gunplay isn't the best in class (it's serviceable though) And I can see why other people wouldn't like the vibe or the level design.

But man if you stick with it, the game is such a breathe of Fresh air in the video game space. If you're looking for a palate cleanser for gaming this would be a great choice.

I could go on and on about the game, but if you haven't played it, please give it a chance. I think the ultimate edition with all the DLC goes on sale often for $20, and that's an absolute steal for such a high quality title.

3 out of my 5 are from the PS2 generation. Probably one of my favorite gens.

Control and Yakuza 0 both got me out of gaming slumps. Very good games for a palate cleanse. I am so excited for Control 2

But from a business standpoint that is really risky. Xbox series only has what like 30 million sold? vs like 60 million for PS5? (I don't know the exact numbers but I know it's close)

MS would lose out on a crap ton of sales if they did that. 30 million people aren't going to buy Series consoles just for COD (They will probably skip it or just play on PC)

Then you run the risk of killing COD and letting something else take its place.

MS wants their damn money back from buying activision. COD is gonna be on PlayStation.

@Nonstop-Madness: I think it's time for a new enemy faction.

The automatons took Cyberstan, Home of the Cyborgs which were the enemies in the first game. I would love to fight on planets against Cyborgs and Automatons.

Then we still haven't seen anything about the Illuminate. I was hoping they were about to come through that black Hole we created when we warped that planet to another Galaxy, but it's been weeks since that happened. (if not months now)

Sadly I heard the engine can't handle Terminids and Automatons on the same planet, so there goes game modes vs both, which would have been really cool as you would have had to adjust your layout to be able to fight both at the same time.

It's a good game. I have around 100 hours into it, but I just kinda play every now and then and not everyday.

But man the community is super harsh on the game. The whole PSN account thing has just ruined community engagement and vibe.

I'm part of the Helldivers Sub reddit and when the game launched it was all about memes, fun, and the ridiculousness of the game, but christ all it is now is bitching about PSN, weapon nerfs, and not enough content.

Personally I dont think games need 1000's of hours of content, I mean come on how good really is over 1000 hours of gameplay?

I got my fill after 70 hours, and now I play every now and then, check out some new stuff, and for me that's ok.

They are just looking for someone with ANY online experience. PSN included. People are reading WAY too deep into this. This is pretty standard for any job posting seeking qualified candidates from any background
