I mean duh, we all knew this was going to happen. But $20 a month......that's really only going to appeal to certain gamers, those who play ALOT, and the more it increases AND IT WILL the more MS is going to alienate gamers.

Only way this wasnt going to happen is if Gamepass had 100 million subs, and I don't think that's ever going to happen.

People seem to prefer owning games rather than renting. It works for movies since those are more one time use,

Gamepass experiment is failing

At this point the ps5 is just competing to outsell the other PlayStation consoles.

I can see it passing the PS3 and Maybe the PS1 before it's all over

@mojito1988: SSX, Time Splitters, and TEKEN TAG TOURNAMENT were all launch titles for the ps2

I think just over 30 games launched for ps2, and I agree it feels like PlayStation doesn't launch with any all time greats, but I think the exception is PS2 with Teken Tag Tournament. The game is phenomenal; I don't understand why people forget about it.

@Archangel3371: Gotcha, so it's like how PS does it with the "Primary" Console thing, unless it's a disc game

Spec Ops The Line

Mediocre game at best, with a massively overhyped story.

Red Dead 2

Crazy levels of production and detail, coupled with an extremely boring game. Half the mechanics and systems are superfluous, and have little to no bearing on the gameplay. Seems like they tried to be arcadey and sim, but failed at both.

GoW2018

Again, has great production value, but found a way to neuter a cool character, while simultaneously creating one of the most annoying, with boi. The combat feels middling, and the upgrade system is pointless.

Hard disagree on Spec Ops, being a mediocre action game is part of the experience.

I see a lot of people saying Souls likes, and I can see why especially if you play a lot of them or have been playing them from the beginning back with Demon's Souls on PS3. I would argue that the games are good, but we have just gotten used to the formula and it's grown stale with very little change in now over 2 console generations.

So I would say Souls Likes now are over rated, but when they first came out they were the tits.

@mrbojangles25: I mean I kind of like that the game has single player and a multiplayer mode. It kind of reminds me of the PS3/360 gen where every game was like that.

I think the Dev bit off more than they could chew TBH. Maybe should have focused on single player then update it later with a MP mode

@mrbojangles25: I dont mind a game being 12 hours, if it's replayable with co op, new difficulty modes, or a horde mode, which this game SHOULD have

I have a 55" LG IPS display. It's 4K and supports HDR but it's nowhere close to an LG or SONY OLED.

Next TV will be an OLED for sure, I also have it paired with a Yamaha RX-V485 5.1 HDR Receiver. Surround sound is a real game changer.....when games actually support it

@my_user_name: For some it depends on the game.

There are a few digital only exclusives on the 360 store, so those will no longer be available for purchase anywhere after the store shut down. I've seen some lists, lots of kinect games but some gems for sure
