@nod_calypse: Do people not remember the 360 vs PS3 era of gaming? Where the 360 was getting console exclusives the entire generation because MS did the same thing Sony is doing now?

Bunch of Sony fans want Sony to take "revenge" and buy publishers like EA and Konami. That needs to NOT happen. We don't need more consolidation.

But that's exactly what is going to happen! The floodgates are open now, I would not be surprised if Square-enix, capcom, Konami, EA are next to be consolidated.

We are about to Have Sony, MS and maybe one or two other companies own 90% of gaming.

I think it will do fine, but probably not as well as the original switch.

I feel like Nintendo might play it too safe, basically just a more powerful switch. Which I would be fine with, but I'm not sure if it will get other people to jump over from the original.

But Im sure the new switch will have SOME type of new gimmick to help sell it. Maybe something with AR/VR?

I've started Guardians of the Galaxy on PS5. Great game, can't believe I'm just now getting around to it. I picked it up after watching Vol 3. The movie gave me an itch for more and the game doesn't disappoint. I thought the voice actors being different from the films would bother me, but the game has it's own style and personality that makes it stand on its own

@jaydan: I love platinum games, and I tried to like astral chain....but man it's hard to get into.

The control scheme of controlling TWO characters 3rd person at once NEVER clicked with me, it was always messing with my head, I couldn't keep track of what both were doing, and I ended up turning the game on auto mode just to get through some parts. Which isn't fun.

Plus the game never grabbed me with the story, characters or vibe. It's not platinum's best game for sure.

I recently started playing Guardians of the Galaxy, and I love the control scheme. It's probably what Astral Chain should have done, where instead of controlling your AI characters with the analog stick you use a command wheel to designate attacks and moves.

@onesiphorus: But they are big enough where they should be CREATING competition not buying the competition. See the difference?

MS should be making new studios or working with small Developers (Not publishers) to create games.

Instead they throw their weight and buy out the competition, Consolidating the competition not creating more.

MS's argument is so stupid!

We MS and Xbox are in third place in the console gaming industry, so we need to spend 70 billion dollars to compete with Sony and Nintendo, so to accomplish that goal we want to buy the LARGEST third party video game publisher.

It's hilarious that MS is acting like an underdog when MS is a bigger company than Sony and Nintendo combined. They could easily invest that 70billion into their current studio or make new ones.

As a veteran of four Bethesda Game Studios games, I've been here before... ...and you're easily impressed.

Yea, that’s the main thing with this game. it’s “Bethesda game in space”.

This is really my only problem with the game. Can it be fresh and new enough to make me not feel like I have been here before.

They have been making the same game since Fallout 3/Oblivion. It even looks like a really good xbox one game.

If you're a fan of those games, Im sure it'll be great. But After Fallout 4 for me personally I am kinda burnt out on the formula

It's like Sony learned from the PS Vita memory card issues where it would only use their proprietary cards......

And MS was like HEY PROPRIETARY MEDIA SOUNDS like a great idea!
