@Pedro: It's that kinda thinking that will give us trash games though.

"Who cares if the game is good! It only like cost 1 cent with all the other games I can play with my subs"

You're going to get cheap effort into games if all you care about is cheap price

They have been working on this game since 2015, first showed it off in 2017

This has Duke Nukem Forever written all over it.

It's going to get to the point where there is only 3 or 4 companies controlling everything in the Gaming Industry. Tencent, MS, Sony, and maybe someone else.

That's how the food/beverage industry is in the US.......other industries as well

Starfield doesn't need Spiderman to be in trouble. It's still running on the 20-year old fucking GameBryo engine.

An engine so bad, it launches with the same bugs every time and people still cry that they wasted $60 on it. Xbots will never learn.

Starfield is using the creation engine? Christ all mighty

It's the entire reason they bought Bethesda and are trying to buy Activision for.

MS straight up FAILED at making games themselves to compete with Sony and Nintendo, there is absolutely no way to deny this. They FAILED HARD at making games themselves and even buying smaller developers to make games for them. Forza is a bright spot, but damn they release that every year and it's a racing game. It's not going to blow minds or anything.

It's getting to the point where MS wants to control distribution of games, like steam, because they obviously can't compete at actually making games. But to be able to do that....they ummmm actually need games....

If you can't beat em buy em

Wildly hypocritical, but what can you expect from a big corporation like Sony, and deserves to be shot down for the same reasons the Activision sale should.

This is stupid and not helping gamers at all.

It is stupid and of course this is going to happen if the Activision deal goes through. It's why I and other have been crying foul for MS doing this in the beginning!

What else can Sony do if MS can buy these huge publishers like Bethesda and Activision? This isn't like buying Insomniac or Ninja Theory, these are HUGE third party publishers responsible for a large percent of published content in the games industry.

This really shouldn't be allowed to happen in the first place.

I am surprised by this, I would have thought Capcom or Square Enix would have been acquired by Sony BUT it's go big or go home with MS so Sony kinda has to do this

@mesome713: Paying $40 for a game and waiting 20 years for it to be worth a couple hundred bucks isn't a great investment strategy. Which is what MOST sealed games that are 20 years old actually sell for.

Now you might get lucky and it be worth like $2000, but that's still not a great investment.

@ghosts4ever: would you just leave already? Everything you do and say is nothing but hypocrisy

If GS scores a game well that you like, you praise it

If GS scores a game bad you like you call it mainstream media bias.

One day you say youtubers are crap for reviewing games, and today you desperately try to find youtubers that agree with you.

Ghosts......the schtick is old, this act is old. It's not funny anymore, it wasn't really that funny to begin with. No one cares about Metro, it's a mid tier series like atomic heart is a mid tier game. No one cares. You're like Cartman from south park. Everyone hates him, but he sticks around because he is SO delusional he thinks everyone wants him around.

Just go join a Metro sub reddit already. Christ dude. Work on yo self.

@TheEroica: I agree completely. It's easy to get caught up in comparing yourselves to other gamers and perceived expectations.

"I've got to complete x amount of games this year"

"I have to get all the trophies and achievements"

"I've got to be the best at X game"

"I have to collect X amount of games"

**** that. Play what you want at your own pace. I love your sidecar analogy. (Sidecars are also meant to be easily taken off and put away for a while as needed)

Make gaming, and any other hobby work for you.
