I mean I'm fine with everything that won other than our Game of the Year. I mean really lems? Infinite? I know the board is infested with Xbots right now but couldn't you guys rally behind Forza 5 instead? you know a game that was actually released complete instead of a GAS patchwork mess that is Infinite?

It's hard to find any system that isn't a Switch. I hardly see new X1's or ps4s. The second hand market is insane too, I sold my ps4 pro for $350 during the height of the pandemic and bought a PS5 right after.

@hardwenzen: You can't argue with Xbots about Deathloop not being an MS game. They think everything Bethesda has ever released is now an MS game. And TBH it's not like Bethesda has the best track record recently other than ID and Arkane. Do we not remember Fallout 76?

Xbots you need to wait until Bethesda releases new games that MS has involvement with before you claim ownage.

I dont know about best protagonists, but they at least have complete story archs.

I really enjoyed Selene's story in Returnal

Doom Eternal for sure, It launched as a full experience with everything fans wanted.

Infinite is good at it's core, but it's bare bones on release and gamers need to stop putting up with unfinished releases

@nintendoboy16: Agree, I love me some Crusin Blast, I was looking for a TRUE arcade racer and this was it.

@sealionact: Halo is doing that to itself, no co op or forge, can't replay single player missions, lack of game modes in multiplayer ESPECIALLY compared to the previous Halo games, no custom playlists (You can't just play Team death match?!)

I mean WTF HALO? And the worst part is gaming media is giving Infinite a free pass because it's Free to play. The game CLEARLY needed another year of development time, but since it's free everyone is going to give it the benefit of the doubt. Well unless you go to the Halo sub Reddit. Seems like the community is split 50/50. The core gameplay is SOLID. Plays great, but the entire game launched bare bones as Hell and there's no denying that.

And the reason it sucks there isn't some kind of version on the disc is that the game could potentially be lost in the future. Remember those James Bond and Lord of the Rings Games on GameCube and PS2? Well the only way to play those are the original physical release, and because of licensing deals that's how it will be forever.
