Dude holy crap this. I have been on system wars for 10 years and I HAVE NEVER SEEN IT THIS BAD.

You bring up any argument against Xbox ""doy GamePAss" Christ it's pathetic. We don't even talk about quality of games any more or game droughts, it's just who owns who and gamepass.

Every console had a drought this year, sony had a great beginning and an ok end with Deathloop. Xbox didn't have shit all year and extending into last year! And lemmings want to pretend everything is fine because of Flight Simulator, AND ONCE AGAIN HALO AND FORZA?!?!?! More Halo and Forza are you kidding me? Halo Gears Forza, Halo Gears Forza, fucking christ they have to be bored. I love the Yakuza Series but I couldn't just play those games every damn year.

I've been moving over to reddit more and more, and I think I'm done with GS. It's not fun anymore, there's no actually discussion and the same xbots spewing the same shit over and over again is annoying as ****.

It makes system wars SO boring when one side only has one argument for everything. Like we get it, Game Pass is a great value, but this isn't Value wars it's SYSTEM WARS!!!

I actually understand taking servers down, but taking it off digital stores? WTF?

Yes of course it is, It's an Arena Shooter, those have been around since the late 90's. Doesn't mean Halo isn't good, it's just an older multiplayer genre.

I love Socom, I like playing Wildlands because it feels like Socom, but I can tell why it isn't as popular as COD, BF, or Fortnite.

Will Halo be big again? Maybe, COD and BF didn't launch to great reception so now may be a great time for Arena Shooters to come back. Like with any media trends come and go, then back again.

If Halo can bring back the arena shooter then I'm all for it, maybe we will see a resurgence in the genre (And maybe Sony will bring Socom back)

Yes, I do try and at least play them, but most of the time it's not even for an hour and move on to the next game.

I don't do it as often anymore, since I have a new hobby in Magic The Gathering Cards BUT

Now I have MTG cards that I never play or move on to new cards in a few months, but keep the old ones.

Any kind of "Collecting" hobby is going to have this

And to anyone that Says "Just get GamePass duh! You won't waste your money" The problem still exists. You have at your finger tips WAY more games than you could ever play, you may play a few for an hour then never play again. Or you play one game the majority of the time OR you just scroll through the games and don't play anything (Netflix Syndrome)

I don't really like multiplayer BUT I loved Ghost Recon Wildlands for single and multiplayer

I don't know why Wildlands Multiplayer isn't talked about more, to me it's a spiritual successor to Socom

I think the 360 controller for me for comfort and fit

Next would be the dualsense, it's also really comfortable and the haptics and resistive triggers are awesome.

Ghost Recon is one for me, felt like Wildlands Multiplayer was a spiritual successor to Socom, then break point happened and yeah what a mess.

Halo is another, it really fell off and was over taken by COD, Battlefield, and now Fortnite. Maybe Infinite can re-light the fire.

I don't agree with Gran Turismo, the game has it's fan base and sells more than any other racing game. Every release is an event. I just don't think gaming journalists and casual gamers are into racing sims anymore, and racing games in general have kinda fallen off.

I have Returnal and really like it, I think it's my GOTY this year, BUT

Game is hard as nails dude. It's going to be a turn off for a lot of players, add in the fact that it didn't launch with any kind of save feature, it's going to scare away more players.

And it's a new IP that launched at $70 on a new console. Hopefully the game has legs

I don't think those are excuses to say the game is bad, it's far from being bad and Reviews and player reaction proves that.

Sometimes good games go un-noticed, Okami didn't do well when it first released and that game is considered a classic now.

God Hand is an under appreciated hidden gem as well.

Most people are fine playing COD and sports games, and whatever flavor of the month game is popular
