@joebones5000: Your $450 PC will be crap in a few years and won't be able to play anything.......all your other crap is frivolous bs, you'd have to buy a keyboard and mouse when those break
Star67's forum posts
Days Gone 8/10: Pretty solid game, story is a little lack luster and it has some weird loading sections but the horde fights are damn crazy and worth the price of admission. It's a $20 game now
Streets of Rage 4 8/10: Some old school Genesis beat em up goodness, very fresh and plays great, just a little short but there's replay value
The OuterWorlds 5/10: I was excited for this......but man this game is boring, I couldn't get past the first few hours. It feels like a previous gen bethesda fallout game.....and it's basically that. Won't be finishing this, I'm just glad I didn't pay full price for it
Nascar Heat 4: 8/10 Pretty solid racing game, especially if you like nascar, it doesn't do anything groundbreaking, but for $20 it's a fun time.
Star Wars Episode 1 Racer 7/10: got this the other day, it's fun but the mechanics have aged pretty bad, also the races aren't very challenging, I win everything fairly easy, I actually think the sequel Racer's Revenge is the better overall game.
Bayonetta/Vanquish Bundle 8/10: Love Vanquish, played through it and loved every second, tried playing bayonetta for the first time and couldn't get into it. I feel like the mechanics are starting to show age, love the humor and that it doesn't take itself seriously
Throw in some WarZone and Breakpoint for my multiplayer fix and thats about everything I've played, Will be picking up Ghosts of Tsushima next month
We need the resurgence of Arcade, A and AA games from big publishers
We need EA to make Road Rash
We need THQ to make Hydrothunder
We need Sony to Make Twisted Metal (The right way)
We need Sega to make Crazy Taxi
And most of all, we need gamers to buy and support these types of games. Not every game needs to be the next Fortnite or have the production values of the Last of Us
@wervenom: mmm talk dirty to me daddy
@Xplode_games: Except you know if there's a ton of games with the same character the series starts to get a little stale dont you think? How many games can you play with the same characters until you get bored? Heck I love the Yakuza Series but it was starting to get a little stale playing with Kyru all the time, now there's new games in the series with new characters to play as.
Comic Books have been doing this for a while, with different races and genders playing the lead roles. As gaming become an older medium and evolves this is going to continue to happen, like it has for so many other forms of media
Good lord.....this is why gamers don't get any respect as a community. Too many right wing nut jobs.
oh and Metal Gear has had Gay tendencies in the games for a while.....if you actually played the games you would know that.
Love me Some Raiden....mmmmm
Edit* Oh and the Vamp guy in MGS4, god that is a tasty and probably gay man. MMMM
@Pedro: Ok........do you have examples? I really can't think of anything other than Windows or whatever their business services are.
I truly believe MS would be better off going the way of IBM and focus on the enterprise market.
Other than Xbox and Live, there consumer offerings seem to fall short
I think it's time we stop idolizing people that don't deserve it, Confederates, explorers, and past leaders who promoted the extermination of our native populations.
You don't learn history by looking at statues, or by going to parks. You learn history through books, museums, and documentaries.
When was the last time you went down to a statue to learn history? Statues are meant to idolize, there's a reason you don't see Nazi leader statues.........and I don't think we have forgotten that time in our history
Good thing they payed Ninja and Shroud all that money...
Yo, the Xbox branch of Microsoft is the most clueless bunch of folks I think I’ve ever seen in the gaming industry. They’ve literally done nothing right and have been in 3rd place FOR THE ENTIRE EXISTENCE OF THE XBOX BRANDS LIFE. Big Microsoft needs to take a serious look at the hundreds of millions of dollars blown by the Xbox folks. Hell, we could be in the billions at this point. Seriously, Ninja was paid $20 million for 5 months of semi-regular streaming. They paid a few others some serious dough as well. And now it’s just gone? The “let’s just throw some money at it” strategy didn’t work. Does it ever?!?!
The problem is MS never really tries to innovate or lead the pack, they are always playing catch up when trying to enter into new markets.
Windows Phone, Zune, Mixer, Bing, Even Xbox.
Considering MS just shut down mixer to cut dead weight, I really don't see how they could price the XSX that low.
You know, since the CEO is all about cutting fat and being profitable now....or so he says
