Depends on my mood. I can go weeks or a month without doing so, but I'll have the itch to play contra, castlevania, or Streets of Rage every now and then and play them for a few hours.

BC to me is more for collectors, it's always nice having a newer piece of hardware to play older games, since old hardware can fail, and in some cases gets hard to find

@gifford38: Exactly, most new releases other than Nintendo games will get a $20-$30 discount after a few months.

I mean at $70 a game that's $140 for 2 games, ad a third and that's $210. That's really adding up not including TAX!

Sales are going to be my friend next gen

He's losing the country, he is losing his base, he is losing his allies in the senate, he's going to have to change his ways (He wont) if he wants to get re-elected.

But the damage is done, we are in for a rough couple of months

Possibly, I don't think sports games that rehash the same assets and gameplay mechanics every year should cost that much BUT

Games are getting larger, more detailed, and just take more man hours to make. I'm surprised $60 has been the norm for so long.

If ture I will be buying more games on sale and buy less new games day 1 next gen

@Yams1980: You can't compare those old games to new modern open world games.

Games are MASSIVE compared to those games. It's not the same

WTF, I just got this for $14+ recently.

He's exaggerating on the 10min part. It take a few minutes though

I just got the platinum trophy for Days Gone. I continued playing to get the additional endings after the main story and when I checked I was only 2-3 trophies away from getting the Plat so I decided to do it.

It's only the 5th game I've gotten a Platinum trophy for going all the way back to the PS3

I think it's important to note that both Abby and Ellie lost their "Family and Friends" when they went on their quest for revenge.

After Abby kills Joel her relationship with Owen and Mel is even more strained, they obviously didn't 100% agree to that crusade. Both Owen and Mel state this, Mel even calling Abby Toxic

Ellie had a chance to lead a normalish life with Dina at their farmhouse, but Ellie can't let go and ends up losing Dina and JJ.
