[QUOTE="EA_GUY"] Credit: ringsidenews.comYou have got to be ****ing kidding. I was actually planning on giving TNA the benefit of the doubt and giving BFG a shot, but screw that. There is no chance I'm supporting that crap with my money. At least, if this comes about, they're making my choice either. The current booking plan has Kurt Angle successfully defending all the TNA titles at the 9/9 No Surrender PPV, and again defending them at Bound for Glory in Atlanta, GA against Jeff Jarrett.

[QUOTE="EA_GUY"] Former X-Division champion Samoa Joe has been telling people that he would rather accept an entry level WWE contract (believed to be $50,000 per year), rather than resigning with TNA. Joe is not happy in TNA, and doesn't want to stay with the company when his current contract expiresLink256I am in support of it, if that is true. I think it is clear to most everyone that TNA missed the boat with Samoa Joe and even if they were to make him champion next time he had chance, it would have already been too late. Whatever magicical opportiunty TNA had with Joe has already passed, as far as I am concerned.
Personally, I rather see him in WWE. I mean, what other option is there? ROH? Been there and done that. Plus, regardless of that, if Samoa Joe is ever going to be big star that most everyone believes that he can be, simple matter of the truth is that it is not going to happen in ROH --- it would happen in WWE.
There are two real options for Joe outside of TNA, WWE and the combination of ROH in the states and Japan, specifically, Pro Wrestling NOAH, which I do believe is a very real option. The choice between TNA and WWE, though, at this point, is like choosing between getting kicked in the face and getting kicked in the balls. Either way, its going to suck and it may cause permanent damage. TNA could be handed "The Idiots Guide to Not being a Complete and Utter Disaster in Pro Wrestling" and still **** things up. They seem perfectly content to not make a profit. WWE brings a whole new bag of issues. Joe would already be coming in with 2 strikes against him, having turned down WWE before and by having the gall to succeed elsewhere. Then, there are of course the limitations that would be placed upon Joe, because Heaven knows Triple H doesn't want to squash someone that would slap him around like Joe. Then, of course, he's Samoan, so he'll also need to adjust his moveset to focus around his ass. His gimmick and look is far too vanilla, so he'll need to choose between being a Wild animal, or dancing like a moron.
That may be half-joking, but I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if they gave him anything to work with until after at least a year of crap.
One way or another, if TNA can't come up with anything to keep Joe on board, I'd be shocked if he doesn't make, at least,a brief stop-over in ROH, which'd be awesome.
Hahahaha that quote made my day. But it is true to an extent. I am all for Joe getting out of the hell hole that is TNA but it's somewhat bitter-sweet. He's going to go to WWE to be what? Mid-card status at best? Oh well, thank God for UFC, that's really all I have left...
[QUOTE="mja2k3"][QUOTE="Mu5uk0"] i would mark out so hard if punk wins the ecw title and then goes punk '05 on all of the fan's asses.The_Dude14
I'd mark if he signed a TNA contract on top of the ECW championship.
I'm pretty sure Punk would rather shoot himself in the face while totally high off heroine and PCP than sign with TNA right now. If he signed with TNA, I'd certainly be calling for a drug test.bUt d00d hez strate edje hiz onli adikshun iz compatishun!!!!111
I would really like to see Punk fued with Dreamer, or maybe even Kevin Thorn. I don't really see the sense in him fueding with Big Daddy V because supposedly the WWE is trying to make him look unbeatable so he can move to SD and fued with Undertaker after he finishes fueding with Khali. A Punk and Daddy V fued have crap-fest written all over it. Why doesn't Matt Stryker wrestler, screw managing Big Daddy V.
