I thought about that but if they just gave SD someone like Orton or John Cena it would balance out.

Sorry for the double post but I just realized, if they did cast him as Thor it woud get extremely annoying because not only would they promote the movie every 5 minutes like they did for "The Marine" and "See No Evil" but Jerry Lawler and JR would always have some lame joke to say about Trips while he's in a match.

JR: Baw Gawd, it looks like Triple H is looking for a sledge hammer under the ring

Jerry Lawler: It looks like he's gonna bring down the hammer of Thor!!!!

:| Oh God...

ugh. this is why most media-to-movies suck, they don't look hard enough for the right actors to play the part they just think "hey this guy looks like the hero" and assume that will make the movie good.

hhh as thor would suck; he was bad in the blade movie (but then again what wasn't) and there are so many other choices the casting director could choose from.

I disagree, HHH wasn't that bad in blade...and I like that movie:(

He totally looks the part, all he needs is a little acting training. Besides, who else do you think could pull off the "Almighty God of Thunder" look?

It likely isn't entirely because he's always in the main event, it's that he's put into the main event with no real reason. There doesn't tend to be much conflict, other than him wanting a title shot. If he were put into, oh I dunno, actual fueds where there was real motivation maybe it wouldn't be so annoying for him to constantly be thrust into the spotlight. Any time someone with the belt comes out these days, Teddy Long shows up and announces that they will face Batista, and gives no actual reason as to why. I realize there are a lot of injuries, and that SmackDown's roster was raided in the draft, but they could at least TRY and build up someone else to be a big-name face.SlapBoxYaMom

This is spot on. I think if Batista started fresh on Raw and maybe as a heel it would do wonders for his career. His character just feels so lame and generic at this point. Nothing fresh, nothing to really care about. It feels like Batista doesn't really serve a purpose anymore except to be "that guy" who challenges the guy with the title dozens of times until he gets it with no real motive. Fans like a character that they can grow attatched to. And as much as everyone hates John Cena, he's done what Batista hasn't done and that's build a relationship with the fans. The people who like John Cena, in a way, care about him. He's always put into these "against all odds" situations and his fans are hoping for him to come out on top. However Batista's fans are just like, he's cool, but there is any emotional attatchment to his character. I don't have a huuuuuge problem with him in the main event scene so much, but they really need to rebuild Batista as a character and make him someone worth cheering for. In my oppinion I think they should make MVP lose the title to Matt Hardy and have MVP and Batista fued for a while; maybe even make Batista turn heel and MVP turn face. Re-develope Batista's character and maybe even have him put MVP over. Then with that much needed time away from the main event scene people won't hate on him so much.

Don't give punk the mic again...ever again.The_Great_One2

Don't give you a keyboard again...ever again. Punk was good on the mic tonight, what were you watching? What really annoys me is John Morrison on the mic. Listening to him makes me so angry for some reason, he's just so bad. Not only that, but as of late he's been botching moves left and right. Pretty bad ECW all around, and even worse comment by The_Great_One.

I have no idea who Kevin McKidd is but I think HHH would make a pretty good Thor. He sorta has the look, he just needs to get back into shape. He's not a terrible actor either, he was pretty good in Blade Trinity.

Though I can safely say that this Raw was awful it was still a HUUUUUGE improvment from last weeks. I know a lot of you guys thought that last weeks Raw was like THE BEST EVER which I still can't get over (besides The_Dude and Link) but it is safe to say that it was abysmal, plain and simple. This Raw improved over last weeks crap-fest (which isn't saying much mind you) because their were actually *gasp* wrestling matches! WWE Idol was pretty horrible but at least their were parts that made me laugh, WWE dating game on the other hand made me wanna slice my wrists. The Cryme Tyme segment was pretty entertaining and I don't really think they're that bad in the ring. The Mcmahon segments were trash but the King Booker segment made up for it. And though the main event was predictable, it was still watchable. All in all Raw was bad but I managed to actually sit through the whole thing which is a lot more than I can say for last weeks.
