You are applying anarchic principles to the meaning of the word "anarchy". My head may explode at how meta that is. That wasn't my goal, not at all... Most people, envision chaos when thinking about anything that starts with anarchy or anarchism mostly because of the picture the mass-media has painted. Anyway, i knew someone would take my post the wrong way.
Because taxation is part of living in civilized society. Robbery is a completely different thing.
I don't see why the quality of our roads and various systems matters at all.

So, we're stuck on semantics eh? You're obliged to pay a lot of money otherwise you will go to jail, you're right, it's not robbery, it's extortion. I would've been fine with it if it was spent in a good way, but it isn't and never was. And "taxation is part of living in civilized society" is just a bunch of empty words and you know it.

If the government, either local or federal, could not fund itself, then we would in a state resembling anarchy.

Anarchism is above all, an economic theory that exists in many different forms, from utopian-and-totally-unachievable to some quite realistic and practical... But that's totally off topic. Like i said, if it was spent wisely, i wouldn't have minded that much about taxation, but that's not the case and never has been. Certain politicians and corporation are getting richer out of my back, the government conducts policies that in no way benefit me or my community and i'm expected to just roll-over and say okay, well that's done for some greater good?!

They take a large percentage of your hard earned money and spend it for something that doesn't benefit you nor your community, sure, some of the money go for building roads, healthcare but that's not the point. In my country, we have **** roads, a bad healthcare system, a bad social security system, corrupt justice system and i pay a lot of taxes, a lot. How is it NOT robbery?

Transhumanism is a much better alternative than heaven, a more realistic and achievable one too... I would get bored in heaven in less than a century. Even if i'm in muslim heaven with 72 beautiful virgins that would prolong my interest for what, one or two centuries? H+ for the win...
