[QUOTE="The_Game21x"]

And here's a quote from the PS2 version of GRAW...

"Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter for the PlayStation 2 continues the disturbing trend of releasing games on different platforms that have the same name but offer vastly different gaming experiences. If you were wondering if Advanced Warfighter for the PS2 might offer something similar to the superb tactical shooter of the same name on the Xbox 360, you can stop wondering now. It doesn't, and it's not even close."

Yep, GRAW sure is the same game on the PS2 as it is on the 360.

There's a difference dude. A huge one. That's what makes the 360 version exclusive.

LOXO7

But you forgot that the PC version of the game INCLUDES "the superb tactical shooter" that the contrast of the PS2 game does not.

"The massive urban areas you fight in are even larger and more detailed than the already spacious areas in the Xbox 360 version of the game, adding a great deal of tension since this added landmass makes for many times more possible hiding places for bad guys. Also, there's more interactivity to the world and flexibility with the tactical map, which gives you more precise control over your teammates."

Would it be closer on the PC then on the PS2? GS seems to think so.

Not really, if anything the PC version is more like the ps2 version, which GS says is a completely different game if you compare it to the 360 version.

Man that's sig-worthy. That would be a great way to educate the mis-informed cows.

i dont see how we can say that some multiplats r exclusive while others arent. GRAW and MLB are both Multiplats, or Exclusives, cant have it both ways. hell at least MLB is on only Sony Platforms. GRAW is on PC, XBOX, and PS2.

tmacscores91

Because it isn't always easy to look at a games name, see if they see it on another console, and then say it's multiplat. That's why we need rules here (which a lot of people are ignoring btw) to see where to draw a line. Both games have been under heavy discussion and it was decided that one was exclusive and one was not. I can repeat all the reasons for GRAW's exclusivity, such as completely different developer (The Show has same developer) and gameplay perspective (there's only 1 gameplay perspective in baseball), different levels (ballparks don't count), etc., etc, the list can go on, but people will just ignore it and say the names are the same and that's all that matters :|

Nail in the ps3's coffin if true. Sony has to respond either way if they want to keep Activision's support.

You know there's something wrong going on when ps3 fans are arguing with other ps3 fans.

More Proof, where does it say Only on Xbox 360 ?

Nonstop-Madness

You really don't get it do you? It wouldn't say only on Xbox 360 because the game is also on the PC. That said, they are very DIFFERENT. Whether or not those difference were intended might explain why it wouldn't say "Only on Xbox".

[QUOTE="Nonstop-Madness"] GRAW = Not Exclusive

That doesn't prove anything except that they share the same name. Why don't you read the reviews? That's where you will find all the information, and the reviewers even say that they are very different. Also we're on System Wars and if something is officially decided here then anything outside of it doesn't matter.

That list probably isn't updated. Heavy Rain started as a PC project, but now it's a PS3 project.

kage_53

I doubt an industry leader like Nvidia would allow such a huge oversight such as this.

Oh but they said FFXIII is coming to PC just because the game engine is PC based. Like Nvidia knows anything about other companies games....

Maybe they said that because FFXI was on the PC. There's rumors of FFXIII going to the 360 as well.

Its also unnecessary to post nonsense threads like this. ;)

AdoringFan_

So Nvidia are nonsense now are they?!! :roll:

Geez I'm not making this up,Nvidia are a reputable and well-renowned company last time I checked.

How about you browse through your source? Huxley has been canned for the 360 and nVIDIA has listed past games. Can you find anything else witha more recent date please. Try harder next time; your getting there though ;)

Huxley wasn't canned. It was put on hold and that isn't just another way of saying it was canceled because i have still been hearing news about it.

Since all PC games are open to user-made content, that means any game on the PC is unlimited, whereas the 360 versions are limited unless there's DLC provided by the developer. I guess that means those games on the 360 are exclusive because content-wise they are very different.
