[QUOTE="worlock77"]

So 505 murders last year in a city of 2.7 million. The town in southern Illinois where my parents live has a population of like 6,500 and had 3 murders last year. I wonder what that murder rate would be.

You want high murder rates in smaller towns, try Flint and Saginaw, michigan. Lol, those are bad. But I dont think Chicago counts as the full 2.7 million. They probably refer to just the urban areas and not its surrounding. So the denominator may be smaller.

I live in Saginaw, and happen to live in an extremely nice, predominantly white area with almost zero crime, despite Saginaw constantly being touted as the most dangerous city in America. Like Chicago, it's worse in some areas and perfectly fine in others.

I actually live in a student house a few houses down the road. This happened on my college's campus, Central Michigan University.

The past couple days, a black man has been going door to door pretending he worked for DTE and needed to check on some things. He's sexually assaulted 3 girls so far and is still at large.

Moral of the story: Stay safe ladies.

EDIT: Also, 142 pounds for a 14 year old? Is this a normal weight, or does it just seem like a lot to me for some reason?

Did any of you guys see this?

A group of policemen in my town shot a homeless, mentally challenged man 46 times when he began walking towards them with a knife.

How future proof is this? How would it perform relative to other desktops that can be built for under 1000$? Again, thanks a lot. Ive always been a console gamer, and have just begun doing my homework regarding PCs.

Also, how would a build like this perform? I appreciate the help, like I said, I'm not really confident in what I'm doing.

Is there anything I should be aware of before taking on this task?

Let's go with 800 chocolate buttons, assuming they were worth 1$ a piece.

I'm very new at this, although I do know that building my own will be much cheaper than buying something prebuilt. My budget is 800-900, and I'm looking to build something that will max everything. Can you guys help a brother out?
