I kinda do...I miss seeing games get 9.7's, or 8.9's.

*sigh*

Do the majority here like the system in place? Or prefer the old?

Just wondering what all the gamers out there plan on buying before the end of the year.

For me...

1. Mass Effect

2. Bioshock 2

3. Bioshock (have yet to play it)

4. Dragon Age: Origins

5. Madden 10

6. MW 2

7. Assassins Creed 2

8. Oblivion GOTY

Plan on buying a 360 elite as well.

Well?

I'd just get a Samsung 720p 32" like the 32B550 or something along those lines. Although I will say...a portable HDTV might not be the best idea in a dorm...When I lived in the dorms I saw things a lot bigger and a lot more expensive get stolen when a roommate left the door unlocked by mistake.TheSystemLord1
I had my laptop stolen this year. Luckily, I had insurance on all my items. If you are getting a tv, do that. I just recently bought the Samsung ln32B460, and I'm very happy with it. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9301604&st=ln32b460&lp=1&type=product&cp=1&id=1218080215881

Thinking about getting:

Samsung - 37" / 1080p / 60Hz / LCD HDTV. (LN37B550)

Best buy has it for 850, not sure where I'd be it from.

Okay decision?

[QUOTE="Steve3950"][QUOTE="Animal-Mother"] 32 Inch Sony Bravia 1080 P part of the M Series, cost me about 600 bux Animal-Mother

Is 1080p worth it? Sorry for all the questions, appreciate the answers!

Ohh no problem. I mean what are people if we dont help one another even with the smallest request. Umm 1080P is worth it in my eyes. Because if you playing 1080P HDMI over component, you'll notice alot of subtle difference's certain details make themselves noticble and it just wow you a little but more. What systems would you be playing on?

Primarily my 360...Will use the TV for just gaming.

Just out of curiosity, what model TV is that?

I'm currently looking for something similar in size.

Thanks for the reply.

This is going to be primarily for gaming. Is 1080p worth it on a 40 inch tv? I'll be approximately 5-6 feet away.

I just don't know whether or not to spend the extra money on 1080p or not, or use the money to go bigger/better.

Okay...Well I have about 1200 to spend on a TV, as well as possibly surround sound (moving into an apartment next year for school!)

Without feeling the need to go and look for specific products, can anyone help out a little?

I have no idea about 720p, 1080p, 1080i (keep reading conflicting information), what's needed, what looks the best, etc... Size wise, I'm willing to go up to 40 or 42inches.

Any help :-)?
