'tis my birfday today...  18, now I can be convicted of a crime and tried as an adult :cry:.  Whatevers, I shall be celebrating all day long, first thing to do when I get home: Pants-off Dance-off with some DDR....

Well while I was eating my pizza this evening my father told me he heard that several European countries are debating on whether or not to let men stand up whilst urinating. Wanting to learn more about this, as I was somewhat doubtful, but I found this link. Yeah, let me just say that if the man standing up while he relieves himself really causes that much strife, I don't think that the people should be married in the first place. I haven't found any verification on whether or not the laws or any such thing would be possible. But hey, I'm in America, I wouldn't know about it. Any Europeans or anyone heard anything about this? I would like further information if you can supply it! Oh, I also did find this too...

Well, I already failed in my new years resolution.  My resolution was to be less offended by human nature and the human race's overwhelming stupidity.  I was going to try to last at least a whole week, turns out.... 3 days... less than.  Well, what was your resolution and have you failed it already?

yeah I've been busy with other stuff as of late... brief update:  I got Viva pinata (it's fun).  I also finally resolved to get DDR, since if I'm takin' the winter off for sports, and I'm just gonna sit on my butt and play video games, I figured I may as well get off my butt and play video games....  Workout mode, here I come!!!

Well I'm all out blown away by Gears of War.  You definately need xbox live gold to appreciate this game the most, because I've noticed that the single player campaign is rather short, as I'm already just about done with it on casual.  However, it's as solid as any game could ever be.  In response to Lance in the comment on my previous blog post, yes, even non-shooter fans will adore this game.  Also, to further appreciate it, I have the collectors edition, and the DVD and book that come with it are equally interesting, giving backround to the story, the inspiration for the game and other goodies.  Gameplay overall is completely solid, and the only real qualm I have about the game so far is the lack of sensitivity customization.  They give you fast medium or slow, and medium is way too fast, and slow is just a tad too slow (for me, at least).  But, I've said some other games people should definately own, and Gears of War is now on that list.

Well I got GoW on sunday.... and I love it.  I love it just as much as I love GHII....  more later... playin' GHII right now..

So far I've only worked part way through the carreer mode on hard difficutly (I want to get easy money to unlock all the extra songs, and I also want to unlock all the songs so I can quickplay all the songs on expert).  However, I didn't think they were serious when they had TROGDOR by frickin' strong bad himself on there.  But they did, and I did manage to play that on expert, and let me say. IT'S AWESOME.  Okay, that being said, the hard mode on GHII started a bit hard, but then it got really, really easy.  It seems like game is more forgiving on the hammer-ons and pull-offs than GH.  However, I will post back with my complete impression on the game.... tomorrow (I'm definately planning on staying up all night).  Oh yeah, I didn't get WTF, but I did find Every Extend Extra, which I was fairly stoked about.  So, I'll be playing that tomorrow probably on my busride to one of my games... so I'll have that one for you too :D

GUITAR HERO II IS RELEASED TODAY!!!  I'm goin' to the EB Games I pre-ordered it at and picking it up today after my football (soccer) practice.  I'm totally frickin' stoked to play some Lamb of God, Primus, Butthole Surfers, Rage Against the Machine, and also Anthrax....  This release has so many better songs and bands!!!  Pretty much all the songs there are my faves by my favorite bands.  Can't wait!!!  (Just to see how important it is, this is the first blog post I've made when I haven't taken a sick day from school.)  Oh and I may pick up WTF because I've been waitin' for that....  BUT GUITAR HERO II!!!!

Wow, I've been extremely busy.  Since school has started I haven't had much time to play games, much less go on gamespot!!!  Well, since I've been sick for the past 4 days and the doctor deems me unhealthy, I guess I have som etime to play some games and go on gamespot.  Well, I've been playin' generals and ZH for a little bit.  Those games are pretty good, more news as it comes....
