[QUOTE="Stonin"]You see, you were simply missing something. 360 owners have a multitude of great games to play while they wait for PS3 exclusives to port to their console. Conversley, PS3 owners need to hype a year old game like Oblivion while they wait for 2008 to roll around with the promise of a couple of decent titles to play.topcatyo

That is a very good point.  However, the same could be said about the Nintendo Wii.  Now that most people have beaten Twilight Princess by now, they need to wait for their next great game, and I've seen them hyping the Virtual Console.

You're right, it could. Simple answer: Buy a 360 now and think about another console next year sometime ;).

I'm sorry, I could not fit in what I wanted to say in the title.

Anyway, I've read a lot of topics/posts/whatever about people dissing the PS3 getting Oblivion saying "lulz, yoo r's get it a yer aftr us, y wuld u want it llulz!"

Okay, fair enough.  The system is getting it a full year or something after the game comes out.  Not much fun, right?  Well, then again, games that are made in Japan are usually released in Japan a full year before they are released in the US.  I guess by then, everyone here will have the game from Japan, because it's been out so long and clearly available to those who wanted it, right?

Okay, fair enough.  But answer me this.  I've read topics a lot about people claiming Devil May Cry 4 will be out for the 360 a while after the PS3.  Knowing how delayed multiplatform games go, it'll probably be a full year.

Then answer me this, how is getting Devil May Cry 4 a year later on the 360 better than PS3 owners getting Oblivion a year after it comes out?  Is there some double-standard, or am I just not getting something.

I mean, lord knows fanboys have been laughing at Oblivion on the PS3 for getting there later, yet they foam at the mouth whenever they even get another speculation about Devil May Cry.

[QUOTE="The-0ne"]They have given it... 9/10! +Brilliant. An absolute riot. +Amazingly fun co-op. +Car handling is excellent. +Abilities liven up the genre. -Missions not varied enough. Heres what they said in the final paragraph... "For outrageousness and pure entertainment value, Crackdown is the most fun sandbox game to date. It's arguably a little unfocused as a single-player game, but get a mate to join and this becomes one of Xbox Live's killer-apps. It's a game that screams fun - a truly brilliant addition to the sandbox part. Crackdown is style. Crackdown is all-out fun. Crackdown is and absolute riot!" Halo 3 Beta or not, I am definately getting this game :D

Nice! been looking forward to this one for a while.

The next gen isn't just about graphics.  The processing power we have available to us today promotes better physics, AI AND graphics.  This is often forgotten.

I want more complex games where my enemies can employ multiple strategies to try and take me down.  I want racing games where it really feels like i'm driving a super car.  What I do not want is some watered down crap port of an ancient game idea with none of the sparkle this new technology brings.

Try playing Medieval Total War on the Snes TC ;)
