I could have swore sometime last year I saw that Capcom said they are no longer bringing or making PC games due to the piracy from one of the last Street Fighters.

Thank you everyone for your input, good and bad it all was appreciated. We decided to go ahead and get an Xbox again, but ironically it wasn't Halo or any AAA title that did it. My coworkers are primarily CoD and Madden players, and while my PS3 and PC have that covered one thing it can't do conveniently is Kinect. I know Kinect is young yet, but like I said I have kids, and my oldest has already expressed interest in it (especially the Star Wars game) and I have a young girl who would probably have a blast with Kinectanimals. The announcement today by Double Fine (Brutal Legend 2 please?) of the Sesame Street game helped. So I'll still have my PC and PS3 for the bigger titles, and the Xbox to play in Madden leagues and CoD online with coworkers and I found the Xbox to have alot more games based for kids. The retro arcade throwbacks are a bonus as well.
Thank you everyone again. And no, there seriously was no flame war intended lol. Next time I'll post in "General Gaming" maybe....my fault.
i don't understand the purpose of this thread. You already owned a 360, so you already know what the experience is like. What could anyone here possibly tell you that you already don't know? Beyond that you already own a PC and a PS3. You have all of the info you need...
heretrix
True, but things change and I was just poking around to see if there was anything new about the 360 that I didn't know about to make it worth my time other then just to play with friends...somehow though this turned into an accusation that I'm starting a flame war....I honestly don't want one, read my first post. If anything someone else wants to make it look like a flame war to justify his own purchase because all he's mentioned is that the Xbox "does" in fact have exclusitivity, but if that were true buying one would be a no-brainer.

If you really wanted a mature opinion you wouldn't post the question in system wars.
get the system that has the games you want that is as simple as it gets...but posting in system wars you will rarely receive such answers...WilliamRLBaker
Well, I am aware of that but I was hoping to avoid the imbeciles that hang here, so far so good I think. Alot of good points from people for the most part. The problem is that other then Live Arcade titles, being a PC builder and owning a PS3 there is nothing on the Xbox exclusively left to play, at least that I know of. Someone here mentioned that as old as I am it's an easy decision, but the decision is more based on whether it's worth it or not just to play with friends. And as someone else noted it's a powerful reason to want to buy one, I'm just not sure if it's a good enough reason.
yeah its about at that time you actually agree wth the points of no exclusivity that I don't believe you anymore man sorry. Just seems to me like this was a flame war starter like every single topic of which one should I buy in system wars. Why is that? There is no exclusivity on the Xbox other then Halo, GoW, Forza, and Alan Wake. And how is it possibly about which one to buy? I've owned every console since the Atari 2600 (except a 3D0), and I have 4 gaming pc's in this house, a PS2, an Xbox, and a PS3 all currently being used. It's not about "which" one to buy because I've bought every damn one of them at one point or another.

Well, depends on what all is considered to be in the FPS genre, the best is yet to come. With a little flexibility in the description of FPS:
1. Battlefield 3 ( how can it not be )
2. The Orange Box ( Portal is genius and TF2 has developer support never seen before )
3. Deus Ex: Human Revolution ( FPS/RPG design at the top level )
4. Red Orchestra: Heroes of Stalingrad ( Just wait, it's not Halo or CoD, but it'll redfine what can be done with an FPS )
5. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare ( IW almost save their best for last )
Greatest achievement ever reached was done by Treyarch with Black Ops, hands down.
They proved that you can piggy back off of someone better then you, eventually replace them, use their product and slap a new sticker on the front of the same exact product, dump millions into advertising to lemmings, still save millions in production costs and still make 4x more money.

You could buy a 360 to play with them, or convince them all to buy a system you have to play with you.
I'd opt for the latter 'cause I'd save money.

Yeah your right lol, but then I'd be speccing out their system builds, walking them through the steps to hook up on Vent and Steam, and then spending my weekend on the phone trying to fix their PC problems while trying to hunt, change diapers, and play games myself lol. hence I guess why they all play on Xbox only.
You could convince them to get the ps3. It'd be easier since it's:
a) cheaper
b) easier to setup
Or, start a mutual fund and add 10% of every paycheck you get to it.
LOL, only problem there is they mostly play shooters, and I refuse to play shooters on my PS3. My thumbs always hit each other when moving right and looking left lol.
I'm covered in the investment portfolio. My sister works with IRA's and other bonds, so as soon as I left for Korea in the Army my money was getting dumped into accounts.
And I hope not to offend anyone by saying an Arcade is a waste of money. I guess I'm the type of person that will pass on buying a $1,000 car. I'd rather walk for 2 years to get to where I need to go, and save up for a more reliable vehicle.

It's not a money issue. I have at least $500 right now to invest in a new 360 or do my PC upgrade now. I'm like anyone else here, I love tech toys and yes, the more systems the better as someone said. However, I don't just have $500 sitting around waiting to blow because I buy everything I want to have either. I try to make educated decisions and this one has had me in question for a while I guess. I was planning on buying a Motorola Xoom, but I'm not paying that much for a tablet, so Xbox or upgrade right now instead.
