I think it looks great. I'm not sure why anyone would claim otherwise.

Its the people that think this game will be some blockbuster and sell huge that are so far off. NG games are too tough for a wide audience. The only thing that would make NG a huge seller would be a lack of other options.

That says nothing about the game itself. If you're a fan, I'm sure it will make you happy.

I thought "restoring" meant fixing broken consoles and then I came into the thread......

No, MS is "saving" gaming in the least. All it has done is actually make it split. And it will make it worse next gen when they release early, AGAIN, and try to get themselves releasing in the middle of the other two console maker's cycles. That way, they can always "claim" cutting edge.

And MS supporters will eat it up. Help them do it. No, MS isn't helping gaming, its hurting it.

Do you have to rainbow the original starting levels to play the expansion levels or are they already unlocked when you buy it.

I know, kind of a stupid question. But my wife and I are getting tired of redoing old levels to get to new ones. Thinking if we buy this, we get more play without replaying and rainbow-ing the old levels.

To further support expansion of its game business, Blockbuster will
also be implementing a variety of special consumer game offers, such as an
exclusive Sony PS3 movie and game bundle. The bundle, available at
corporate-owned stores while supplies last for $499.99, excluding tax,
includes: a 40GB Sony PS3 game console that also plays Blu-ray DVDs,
PS3/Blu-ray DVD remote, HDMI cable, "Spiderman 3" Blu-ray disc,
"Transformers" PS3 game and a BLOCKBUSTER 12-week PS3/Blu-ray rental card
that entitles users to one free PS3 or Blu-ray rental per week for 12
consecutive weeks.Blockbuster

Already retailers are pushing the PS3 for its ability to get owners to triple dip into media (DVD, blu-ray, PS3 games). Now you have blockbuster not only pushing the PS3 but offering a retail bundle, something I don't remember them doing before.

Remember, its all connected. Console sales push game sales, which gets dev attention, which gets the great titles, which sells more consoles. And then throw in the blu-ray for ****s and giggles.

Slow start to the PS3. But its value in many eyes is very high. Will be a hard to train to slow.

Agree? No? Why so?

I just got a Best Buy gift card. So, i am debating this myself. Don't know whether to get my lazy arse up and go to the midnight opening at a local store or to just wait until 10am the next morning when they open.

I assume 10am the next morning would be safe, do you guys?

Iws it me, or is your math all f'ed up here, TC. That's 85% of blu-ray players being PS3. That means there's 15% of blu-ray players that are NOT a PS3. Says nothing about the percentage of use for games.

What a stretch you are making to bash the PS3. When, in fact, this article disputes most of the claims that people buy the PS3 for blu-ray only. It shows that most of those are for gaming uses AND movie uses.

 at this thread.

Wow. Your friends are pretty uninformed and uneducated when it comes to the console sales.

You can miss good games by buying one system, either system. Find out which one gives YOU the most bang for your buck. And that isn't so hard when you look at all of the features on each console.
