@NukleaWorfair: LoL. If the PS3 didn't have a 12:1 sales advantage in Japan, it would have been soundly defeated.

Why do we care about sales (traditionally)? Because more consoles sold = more 3rd part support.

In the markets that mattered for everything except JRPGs, the 360 was the market leader. That's why there were so many "PC360" games that skipped -SKIPPED - the PS3.

Also, the 360 sold a lot more software compared to the PS3 (go look up the attach rates). Game company's revenue and success is tied to software sold, not the consoles (which are sold at a loss).

So, I stick by my comment when I say "the 360 beat the PS3".

Also not factoring in the fact that it took Sony until 2018 to "surpass" the 360 three years after Microsoft ended production of that console, and 5 years after the proper end of that generation.

They continued production for no other reason than to cheesily claim so, even if that unearned "vindication" had a gigantic asterisk next to it. And by a measly 500k units. A smaller gap than the 2 million gap Xbox outsold Gamecube by (and it even ended production before the Gamecube did, instead of continuing to sell for 5 years)

If you got your ass kicked during the game, but you stay in the stadium "scoring" long after the lights go out, everyone leaves, and the janitors are cleaning up, is that a "victory" anyone's proud of?

Oof. Not even 2 and a half months old and 60% off? Jesus 😲

If that UK chart where it sold like 1k in its 3rd week is anything to go by, no onder this game is on fire sale.

This must be that Sony Greatness we hear so much about.

Not gonna lie, this game looks horrible, IMO. Completely uninteresting, if the latest gameplay we've seen is anything to go by, but unsurprising considering the creative director left. Easily the weakest of Bethesda's upcoming lineup. That CG trailer they showed off years ago looked awesome, tho.

And while Deathloop does look better (not by much), I love how both of the games Sony has contracts with are offsets from what the fans of those studios actually want lol.

I wonder what the system wars AstroTurf defense force has to say about this. Paging @BenjaminBanklin, please approach the bench.

I'll list which studio was the biggest get, instead of which franchise. If we're excluding BGS, then Arkane easy. Although both of the games Arkane's two studios are working on look like ass. That goes for Deathloop and RedFall.

Wake me up when Dishonored 3, Prey 2, or their proper spiritual successors get announced.

@StrongDeadlift: lol I have Game Pass and will still be supporting this game 100%!

Its a great franchise so it deserves it. Even greater that this series, that was relatively niche, and not considered a priority for Sega until now due to low sales, will now be exposed to way more people that it would have otherwise.

Microsoft also "supported" the franchise, when they paid Sega to put the games on there, btw.

Im currently playing through all of the Yakuza games on GamePass. Beat Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Yakuza 0 so far, 3-4 hours into Yakuza Kiwami.

The first Judgement game was teased by the GamePass twitter account to be coming very soon. And Lost Judgement will inevitably end up there also. So I'll end up playing this entire franchise on GamePass, when all is said and done.

That's the best thing about GamePass. Having instantly downloadable access to entire game franchises from start to finish just a few button clicks away. What will ultimately amount to 10 games, worth $280 total, millions of people will be able to try this franchise with no barrier, who wouldn't have branched out before.

Now imagine anyone being against that.

The Last of Us 2 has "accessability" options that make enemies not even see or react to you. 🤣

Have several seats TC.

Imagine being so brainwashed, and so steeped in Sony corporate slavery, that instead of begging for Sony to stop bending you over and tenderizing your cheeks (just because they can)...........you're begging for Microsoft to ALSO bend you over and tenderize your cheeks (just because they can). Solely so Sony doesn't look as bad in comparison.

Cows care more about Sony's interests than their own.

The mental illness of corporate slavery is a powerful drug........#notevenonce
