Will the PS3 still be considered teh failure in your eyes? Keep in mind that every PS3 sold for the last year or so is a profit and the prfit margin will only increase within this time. Will you still give a rats ass if PS3 finishes "last place"? (even though it will most likely pass 360 in this time, but assuming it didn't would you even give a flying ****? )

http://www.vgsynergy.net/2011/05/07/you-will-be-surprised-and-pleased-with-the-new-psn/ Are you tired of waiting on Sony to turn on PSN? I'm sure you are. We are too, but before your patience wear thin, allow me to comfort you with these words, when PSN returns, you'll be pleasantly surprised and thoroughly pleased with the new, revamped PlayStation Network. Just recently, Sony announced for European gamers that they'll get a chance to download four games for free as part of the "welcome back" program the company's planned to deliver to every PSN member. But that's not all. As Sony's rebuilding the network, work being done doesn't only entail security enhancements. Sony's about to surprise us with features gamers have longed begged for, and while some won't go live right away, expect things like cross-game chat and video chat to be part of the new PSN. "As we are rebuilding the network, we are taking into consideration implementing features such as cross-game-chat and in-game video chat to name a few. I cannot confirm any new features at this time but expect a massive update when the network is restored," said a Sony representative recently. We should also expect to see a revamp of the XMB, and other related changes. Once the service comes back online, you should expect the following features to be available: • Restoration of Online game-play across the PlayStation®3 (PS3) and PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) systems • This includes titles requiring online verification and downloaded games • Access to Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity for PS3/PSP for existing subscribers • Access to account management and password reset • Access to download un-expired Movie Rentals on PS3, PSP and MediaGo • PlayStation®Home • Friends List • Chat Functionality In the coming days: Expect PSN by early next week: "In the coming days, we will restore service to the networks and welcome you back to the fun. I wanted to personally reach out and let you know that we are committed to serving you to the very best of our ability, protecting your information better than ever, and getting you back to what you signed up for – all the games and great entertainment experiences that you expect from Sony," said Sir Howard Stringer in a letter of apology to PSN users. The "new" PSN as Sony calls it, will definitely be more robust than what we've come used to, so bare patience just a little longer, because you'll be pleased. Alot of people will have an egg on their face if this is true lol. Isn't this feature the ONLY reason 360 Fanboys pay for xbox live?

Smh= shaking my head Aintevenmad.jpg. And as rediculous as this whole situation with PSN is, I just had to say my thoughts on it. There are people on this board who care so mch about teh consul warz that they are actually happy about the PSN shutdown. As sad as thes peoples lives must be, I must say I get a chuckle out of people who think Microsoft is some kind of all powerful gods, and that bcauee you pay $60 a year that your service (a service that I myself use and thoroughly enjoy) is impervious to this kind of attack. If Anon wanted, they could do the EXACT same thing to XBL tommorrow. I just had to speak on this because the ignorance on this forum makes me want to vomit sometimes lol.

I cannot help but SMH at the fanboys on this forum who seem to be under the delusion that Xbox Live is some godly impervious service that is immune to the current problems facing PSN right now, just because you pay $60 for it. You guys do know the EXACT same thing could happen to Xbox Live tommorow right?

They'll probably throw in some fake stuff to make him seem cool, ike make him hack into the CIA by accident to add tension.

Hatiko
this. You guys all laugh about it now, but people said the same thing about The Social Network (which was also produced by sony's Columbia Pictures) and look at the insane reviews that movie got. One of the highest rated movies on RottenTomatoes. It they did do a biography they would most likely have the same people doing it and embellish the hell out of it the same way they did for Zuckerberg.

Just to clear things up, there is a thread on the front page that says "ME2 has the record for industry awards" surpassing Uncharted 2. The problem with that thread? TC posted a link touting ME2's 150 awards......yet posted no link whatsoever for his Uncharted 2 numbers, and saying Uncharted 2 only got "about 120 awards" (a completely made up number he pulled from the top of his head) good thing I have a keen memory isn't it? ;) This thread is created to make system wars aware of the falsehood that is taking place in that thread. As of LAST February, 2010, Uncharted 2 ALSO had over 150 industry awards, NOT 120 like the TC of the other thread pulled out of his ass: http://gamer.blorge.com/2010/02/21/uncharted-2-surpass-3-5-million-with-150-industry-awardshttp://www.industrygamers.com/news/ps3s-uncharted-2-surpasses-35-million-sales-150-industry-awardshttp://www.voicetamil.com/?p=19800 Uncharted STILL holds the record for industry awards. Just pointing that out, as I noticed the thread yesterday and while it annoyed me that the TC did not give a link for his BS claim, I didn't even bother posting. The only reason I am making this thread, and not posting in that thread is because it's already gone to 7 pages of "yea, it deserves is, it's teh betta game!" etc and noone called him out on it.
