[QUOTE="Krigon"]Well is Crysis coming out this year? isletasNo. :(
I meant specifically for the ps3 thats why I didn't put this in system wars because I didn't want to hear all of that Halo BS that comes with it because I already know Halo 3 won't be the best fps game this fall.
Resistance was a great game, and well worth the $60
What kind of games do you like though?

The only reason I won't buy Resistance is because in a few months Haze or some other fps game will come out and be much better than Resistance so paying $60 for it simply isn't an option for me at this point in time. Anyway I like all kinds of games such as fighting games, racing, fps, rpgs, action/adventure games, and rarely do I buy strategy games.
I plan on buying in the fall Tekken 6, burnout 5, Uncharted Drakes fortune, Haze, Warhawk, Socom, GTA4, Heavenly sword or Assassins, and maybe UT3. Of course I will probably buy whatever games get the best reviews to make sure I get my money's worth. As you can see I have more than 5 or 6 games listed so I might have a hard time making my mind up in the future and thats exactly why I won't buy a game like Resistance or something right now to hold me over for a month or so. I may not buy Heavenly Sword since I heard that it only takes about 12-15 hours to beat and thats a problem for me when I'm paying $60 for it so I might just rent that game.
[QUOTE="The_Rick_14"]Renting for 2 months wouldn't be a bad idea. It seems like you're somewhat into shooters. EB Games has a HUGE used ps2 selection usually. If you haven't played BLACK, I'd suggest giving that a try.Sugar_Gay
Black never did live up to the hype that was expected of it. I would of bought brand new if it had but the only fps games that did seem to do well on the ps2 were the time splitters games. I've checked out the prices of various rental companies on the web and they do offer different prices with Gamefly being the most expensive at $16 a month, got to play at $12 a month, and then there is another that charges about $9 a month and that will probably be the one I go for. $12 isn't bad though and I may just go with got to play because I would like to go with something that is under $10 a month and if the service is good enough for under $10 a month I may just hold on to it because thats a bargain to me because I never really know how good a game really is till I sit down and play it.
Now that I think about it the one that cost $9 a month doesn't have half the quantity of games as got to play does. With the got to play they have 4000 games or so with the other site having only around 1600 games. Actually got to play charges $13 a month since its $12.95 my bad. I wish there were more online rental companies out there because they would lower the prices more and there would be more stiff competition but there is only a matter of time till this sort of thing happens and its going to happen in the near future but the most ideal thing for me would be a company that charges under $10 a month that has a vast supply of games which doesn't seem to exist just yet.
