I lost my save data from mass effect 1, so i tried to replay mass effect 1 before i went into 2 but i couldnt manage to get past the first visit to the citadel. Such a drag or a game. Now im playing through mass effect 2 and it's so much more stream lined and a smoother experience. No more taking 10 mins to switch weapons and upgrades through your squad after you find a few new guns.

They show you how to make a top of the line rig for 1500. That thing will easily run crysis on everything maxed out. If you cut some corners and get some cheaper parts you can get a pretty good PC for about 700- 800.
Its far from being a console graphics king, but to say it looks like a ps2/xbox game is plain wrong. Believe it or not, some developers prefer to concentrate their time on more than just graphics.

Yeah Ubisoft spent their time on removing key features from the series.
Its no splinter cell classic which made it unique from Metal Gear Solid. The new Change is good just not what most people wanted.FightingfanCouldnt of said it better myself. I liked the old splinter cell because it gave me a different side of stealth action that MGS did not, and now that is lost. But it still brings a nice addition to the action game genre, so im happy for that, but i still wish it had more emphasis on stealth.
Excuse me? It has like a 15 hours singleplaer with a crap load of character customization that you can lose yourself in, and a crap load of minigames. Also a crap load of unlockable difficultys and a new game plus that you can unlock a ultra sword once you beat it. So no, you are wrong, 40 is a steal.[QUOTE="Wolfetan"][QUOTE="BURSTIIIFIRE"]
The only problem I have with this game, is it's price...it shouldn't be priced more than $25-30.
SgtKevali
Link for 15 hour singleplayer?
Go to the IGN review the TC provided, i believe its in one of the last 2 paragrpahs. He said in the high twenties for his first play through, and if you just steamrolled through the game it would be about half of that.

Why? The IGN review said he got over 20 hours in his first play through? Thats more then most games provide this day for 60 dollars, and this game is only 40.
[QUOTE="telefanatic"]in gameplay? lol maybe everything else..but gameplay mechanics..no way! Yes, in gameplay. MGS is a stealth action game, splinter cell was one, but now its just an action game, with some weak stealth mechanics. I would take MGS's gameplay over convictions any day if it was for a stealth game.I dont agree, MGS4 is miles ahead of Conviction.

[QUOTE="Ninja-Hippo"]Haven't played the demo/game but I believe you.. Demo sometimes can make or break a game this is why I will never ever play Dead Space. That is a damn shame, dead space is a great game. After playing the demo, i hated it. I said i wasn't even going to pick it up. Thankfully my room mate did, and in an hour of boredom i sat down to play it and my gosh, Ubi Soft really shot themselves in the foot with that slapped-together demo. It's so unrepresentative of the final product i cant even tell you.
It really is a fantastic game. The storytelling and atmosphere, which were one of the worst aspects of the demo, are actually marvellously done and it really plays out like a Holywood action thriller. I still think it's a shame that they boiled down some of its stealth aspects, and i'm not won over by the win-button, but genuinely, it's a really good game and anyone who was on the fence but decided not to pick it up based on the demo should pretend you never played it.
Why they didn't just make the first ten-fifteen minutes of the game the demo is beyond me...

I havent played the SCC demo, but i am against the game because of it lacking so much stealth. I will still end up picking it up on PC when it comes out just because i love a good action game.
I am also confused over the hype for the graphics.[QUOTE="millerlight89"][QUOTE="toast_burner"]
I dont understand all this hype for its graphics. its a big improvement over halo 3 but there are much better looking games
Disturbed123
QFT. Graphics are good but nothing spectacular.
The graphics look good for halo becaue of the clean colors and textures on everything and the fluid animations. Its no graphics king, but it is still looking fine.
i take good care of my stuff, did everything possible for the xbox's, but they all managed to die on me some how, i have over 20k+ GS on XBL, and i had over 150 dollars worth of RB 2 songs on my xbox, I see. My bad. I guess you just got really unlucky. Just if you argue with these trolls don't use the same thing they are doing. Also my apologies on the fanboy goggle comment. That was uncalled for.[QUOTE="xYourSweet6669x"][QUOTE="timmy00"]Well your posts sure aren't convincing me. I'm really baffled when people say they got like 8 RRODs. You sure you weren't taking care of the console correctly? I'm just saying don't sink to the TC level. Calling the Xbox360 a **** system was uncalled for.
timmy00
Wow someone apologizing, and owning up to being wrong(even when it wasnt that bad)? I must be on the wrong forum.
Also this thread is hilarious, fanboys of the greatest degree. Its going to be a good game, cows need to accept it, but lems need to stop treating this like its the second comming. Every time a new halo comes out the halo fanboys come out of the woodwork and hype it to extreme levels. Hell even ODST got this kind of treatment and it was nothing special.
