If you want a large library to choose from immediately, you should ask for a PS3; but if you are willing to wait for games, you should ask for a 3DS, because it is a brand new system and will be supported more years in the future than the PS3.

I'm not sure Team Fortress 2 has the best multiplayer of any game up untill now, but it is definitely in the top ten.

At this point, I only plan on buying a Wii U, while sticking with PC for most of my gaming.

Edit: It's even harder to know whether or not I will skip without knowing anything about the consoles from Sony and Microsoft.

I would not be embarrassed to play any game in front of people I know (and who would not be offended by the content), but I would not play a sexually explicit game in public out of respect for others, not embarrassment.

Based on what I've seen so far, it appears Kinect can be used as a hardcore gaming device, but only in conjunction with a controller.

The game looks better than Twilight Princess, so I think it will either get 9.0 or 9.5 here.

I like the Wii the most, because it simply has the most exclusives I like.

I came in expecting a picture of someone dressed as a Yeti from Uncharted, but I got something that makes even less sense.

TC, a game being on a Blu-ray disc does NOT make it 1080p. Even so, Uncharted 3 will look better when the full game is released, because ND will have had more time to polish the game.

Edit: On topic (almost forgot), I think both this generation and last generation are nearly equal, because the influx of FPS's this generation have not had a large negative effect on the genres and series I like.
