@LordCrash88 You obviously didn't understand what I was saying. What I meant was that in the late 90s/early 2000s pretty much every popular game that was coming out was a first person shooter. It was a whole bandwagon thing. Now developers are doing the same thing with open world games by integrating aspects of that genre into their games. Now with the release of GTA V and that it's currently the best selling video game of all time, it's perfectly logical that we will find a flood of open world games. Such as the Deus Ex game that Jess referenced in this video.
I have a theory that Ubisoft is trying to take the series as far away from the original premise as possible so they can reboot the Prince of Persia series.
There is no indication that Microsoft's board would heed the wishes of the three investors, who collectively hold more than 5 percent of the company's stock, according to the sources. They requested the identity of the investors be kept anonymous because the discussions were private.
Gates owns about 4.5 percent of the $277 billion company and is its largest individual shareholder.
This is text directly from the article. The board has to agree to force Gates to leave his position. I find it hard to believe that they would agree to such a thing, but I suppose it's possible. I mean, it makes sense that they would want to leave. It's not like he has any experience running a successful company.
DR3 isn't coming to the PS4 just like GTA V isn't coming to the Xbox One or PS4. Companies say this because they want your money now, not later and they know that if people think that a game is not coming out for something then they won't wait.
For all you spouting about how MS is publishing this game, I wouldn't really put too much stock in that fact. When the publishing contract runs out between Capcom and Microsoft then anything goes. Capcom owns the IP and they can do whatever they want with it once they are not legally chained to MS.
