@Bio-Weapon @freckledballsac No, that is exactly right. The Miller in Alaska is a former comrade of Big Boss and sort of mentor to Solid Snake. Miller is definitely killed by Liquid Snake (or his lackeys) but Miller is also a part of Big Bosses militia and also his informant. He also has a deeper darker role that I would rather you find out for yourself. You should definitely play Peace Walker especially if you are going to play this game. It is, in my opinion the greatest MGS out there. MGS3 is a close second. Unfortunately you might not get many online co-ops on your PS3. So you may be only able to do missions single player.

@freckledballsac Oh, so you caught that. I thought I could pull a fast one on you, but you are correct. A fishing boat discovering Paz 10 days after failing her mission to seize the metal gear does not necessarily mean it actually happened 10 days ago from the conversation between Miller and Big Boss. Good catch, most people don't seem to realize that. I'm not giving up on the time frame though because I don't want to call Kojima a liar. =)

@Bio-Weapon Well it would be MG2: Solid Snake but yeah, I'm getting that feeling. As a prelude to MGS5 I assume this will cover up till the Outer Heaven Incident. MGS5 will take over from there and give us the final MGS game and in the end making a full circle ending with Solid Snake and span the distance through the Zanzibar Land true sequel. See, I knew we could agree on something. =)

@alvarokike You definitely bring up some good points. I guess I'll have to cop-out like so many others and say, we'll just have to wait and see. Who do you think the burnt man is?

@freckledballsac No, you are right .... 79ish... not sure. The thing is though, that Sony had been developing then since mid-70's I believe.. Anyone the point is that Kojima productions took the liberty to include them into the PeaceWalker game. Thereby effectively adding them to the MGS universe. So why not also take the liberty to add them to this game as well. See what i'm saying?

Anyway if we are going to have this conversation you should just 'reply' to my comments instead of creating a new comment everytime.

@alvarokike Hmm... never thought of that. I LIKE that idea a lot. I wonder. I totally forgot about the load time thought.... I'm almost certain this may take hours to load each mission of the game. =) Like MGS4 took like 20 minutes between each mission. I do find it curious though why it only happens when futuristic devices (for 1974-75) are shown. Since Sony was in the process of developing the walkman technology during that time the walkman isn't so futuristic but that holographic device and that cockpit are very futuristic... even by todays standards.

@freckledballsac THAT is very true. That is what has us enthusiast stumped. The walkman can be explained. They developed one in Peace Walker so why wouldn't they have one in this game. (movie magic as they say) As for his aging......................... yeah. That is the only real problem with everyones theory on it being a year later. Although if a fishing boat fount Paz in the ocean about teen days ago, how the heck did she survive out in the middle of the ocean for 6+ years? =) See what i'm getting at? Also maybe Big Boss really had a form of Werner's syndrome. (Fast Aging) and that is why his clone (Solid Snake) aged so suddenly... maybe this and that... I know.
