@tonymoise Yeah, it is hard to believe, even after what I wrote below. They're just too pretty and too smooth, and show off so much detail. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
I think these shots are definitely current gen console shots. Yes, they might be slightly doctored to appear more appealing; this is commonplace and has been for years and years. There are five reasons why these look to be current gen, at least to me, and all five reasons are textures.
1. Look at the asphalt.
2. Concentrate on the headlights of the vehicle.
3. Notice the tires on the car? A little murky.
4. Check out the guard rail in the background. A LOT murky.
5. The wooden fence to the left of the guard rail. Extremely muddy.
These are not complaints, by the way. If R* decided they needed to lower texture res on subtleties to increase the realism on what stands out to us, then they made a good call.
Obviously, I don't know shit about programming games, but just a small observation for those wondering. I might be completely wrong about it all.
I guess I should also say this: when EA extended it's tit-milk to Bioware, we all saw disaster. Their games would soon become infected with a genophage. Yep. Each and every one.
@gix47 Laura rocks, always has, and hopefully always will. And if you have a job, then you've been bought as well. The only freedom in this world is DEATH. The sooner you realize that, the happier you'll be. Cheers, mate.
Wow. Either you ripped off some forum posts and the people who commented in those forums, or you all just really, REALLY think a lot alike. I was trying (not very hard, either) to convince myself that you made this up ALL ON YOUR OWN, but then I remembered something; that piece you did the other day seemed familiar, like I had read it in the forums by SOMEONE ELSE that had already written almost EXACTLY what you wrote. So it must be nice to get paid to hunt the forums and repeat what other people have already said, and give them no credit. Well, when your writing reads EXACTLY LIKE every other reviewer on gamespot, you have to find a way to somehow set yourself apart. I have to give it to ya, bub. You sure did write about an awesome topic. The problem is, it's been done already, it's been done better by other people BEFORE you, and your writing style is still terrible, which is ridiculous in itself because it's not even YOUR STYLE. You stole that, too. Now... MOD ME. Freakin' plagiarists.
