[QUOTE="Sw33tChilLi"][QUOTE="PAL360"]I agree, I'd much rather have dynamic water than pre baked water like in KZ3. I'm just wondering how you came to the conclusion that one is 'techinically superior' to the other without being a programmer yourself. You do know people can learn 3D modeling lighting , texturing and rendering w/o actually learning how to program right? I laugh every time someone assumes that if you aren't a programmer you don't know anything about graphics. Most of the art department in these games don't program at all. Well, I was using 'programmer' in a very broad term, I suppose when I say that, I mean 'experience' with working with the HD consoles.Im not bashing KZ3 water man, calm down. It´s important when you are interacting with water like in Resistence2 vid. Not that important when you are just looking at it.

How come I didn't get anything :( Also how did ProjectNatal not win the Xbox award?! biggest_loserI should've been PNF or CuteCakes for 360 award imo
Lol, who cares about being technically better when we are talking about graphics? Its about how they LOOK, how PLEASING to the eye they are. And having said that, how do you know which water FX are more technically better than the other? Are you a programmer who has worked on the 360 and PS3?? If not, how do you know which FX are harder to programme?[QUOTE="Sw33tChilLi"][QUOTE="PAL360"]
KZ3 water looks better but it´s not technically better. Games like Resistence2, Halo3 or Gears2 have dinamic water with real time movement. I believe that KZ3 water is scripted, still great looking no doubt.

The video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTvYPiEi4eU clearly shows that KZ2 looked better than Gears 2, c'mon, I ain't a fanboy but c'mon. Check out 1:35 and 1:08I filmed it with my 5800. great looking water, terrible quality video.
Anyway, KZ2 looks clearly better than Gears2 but according to newest vids KZ3 and Gears3 look on par. I just feel that the jump is bigger in Gears engine than in KZ´s.

Wow, just seen the RDR water effects, incredibel stuff! Never thought it looked like that, and it looks better than KZ3's water effects IMO, although KZ3 is the better looking game overall. I don't think Gears 3 will look better than KZ3, both are running on updated engines, and Gears will need to step its game up (lol) to look on par with KZ3. Just watch this video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTvYPiEi4eU
Its local 2 player, where another player can join in with the single player, You can play co operatively to beat the game and you can access secret areas. Make of that what you will :)When a COD game is 6 hours (not including MP) its makes the game a rushed POS. When another game does it, its not? Kirby's MP must be teh ****
