Wow, Developers getting butt hurt over a review?

Why wouldn't they? If the review is spreading false information that could affect the games sales / metacritic (and believe me, devs do care about metacritic), then they should be annoyed. I know I would.

Why is it hard for you to understand that the reviewers don't find the length to be a big problem? You didn't hear people complaining about GOW being an 8 hour game with no replayability?

Erm, I heard LOADS of people (probably Lems etc) saying that GOW3 was an 8 hour linear game with no replayability... unless your talking about reviewers

I'm not. If IGN thinks this game is a 9, more power to them, I'm just saying that they seem to place less importance to the length of the game then I do (not just this game, many other reviewed games too), which is all well and good, just not what I'd give them. I'm not saying that the game is a flop, its in line with my expectations.

It's IGN.

Actually, in the closing comments bit, they gave lasting appeal a 7/10 for the game, yet still gave the game a 9/10. Fair enough I suppose, but that's not how I would have scored it personally :/
