I found Home to be a snoozefest for the most part. I am good at the bowling part though:D And it took me about 15 minutes to find someone to play Gears of War with me.
Another option if you can, is to hokk it up to a buddies hdtv if it has the same resolution. If you had it hooked up to a 1080p tv then you have to hook it up to another 1080p tv and maually change the settings back to sdtv. The PS3 is too stupid to figure out that you are using a different output. It does not autosense output like a 360 does.
You are not alone, I can't stand them. I really tried to like the Final Fantasy series, I tried FF7, FF8, FF10 and FF12. I just couldn't for the life of me figure out what is so great about them.
And people wonder why developers are going multiplat. Its a blu-ray player that happens to be able to play games. Do people ever wonder why the PS3 was the only blu-ray player that was upgradeable and had the best picture of all the stand alone players? So people would buy the PS3 to watch movies on.

Um, they didn't sell anywhere close to 17 million at $600 they dropped the price the first year twice, at least in the U.S. because they weren't selling very well at all. i know that. I clarified that in another post.Sorry, I must have missed the other post.

WTF? You normally make sensible posts I am going based off the fact they sold 17 million consoles at a price point of $600. They really have nothing to worry about as price goes down. Are they losing money yes. They should only start worrying when the system is selling under a 100k and there games are just not selling well next year.
