Perhaps this FC3 spin-off entails dinosaur dlc in the future for FC3. Ubisoft better get on that before DICE beats them to the punch by putting in dinosaur co-op in BF4.
Sony has been practically given the number 1 spot in the 8th generation of gaming. It isn't that PlayStation 4 won't dominate anyway, because it will dominate next gen; it's that it doesn't even need to hold its own when both Nintendo's Wii U and Microsoft's Xbox 720 forfeit.
I'm not into PC gaming, not into Wii U, and I definitely don't want Xbox 720. Easy decision, looks like I'll be gaming on PS4 next gen.
I regret ever defending devs on how GameStop sells their used games for pure profit without them seeing a cut of the money. If the average dev makes $84k a year, they don't need anymore of my money. From now on, I'm buying only used games just to spite them.
@leviathanwing @THMBZDownGNZUp Medal of Honor two years ago, Battlefield 3 one year ago, Medal of Honor last year, Battlefield 3 this year. Quality games deserve a good 3 or 4 years at a time, and Medal of Honor (2010), Battlefield 3, and Warfighter were hardly quality, even though I enjoyed Battlefield 3. They were still basically in beta stage.
It's like those fanboys justifying yearly Call of Duty by saying they're made by two different developers, thus implying they're two different games. Yeah, right.
I'll concede that a cycle of close-quarters infantry fighting and large-scale vehicular warfare seems to be a cool idea, but in doing so it has tarnished the Medal of Honor and Battlefield names.
If next Call of Duty has visuals such as featured in the article, they will actually be fair competition graphically this time around compared to Battlefield 4's Frostbite 3.
Though, many gamers have grown tiresome of Activision's milked and rushed games, as well as EA and Ubisoft since they have taken to following suit with milking and rushing Battlefield/Medal of Honor and Assassin's Creed respectively.
The fact that PC Skyrim players can still produce mods shows how much the game still provides. I'm extremely excited for Fallout 4, hopefully using an enhanced (or different, much better) engine on next gen consoles (and PC, of course) offering full 1080p, 60fps, and stereoscopic 3D.
