Your question has obviously been answered, I just want to put in my 2 cents.
5$, yes that is a steal.
The Witcher was definitely entertaining, in that it keeps you engaged, it's not a boring game. It is also very much improved in the Enhanced version, there are virtually no more bugs.
But the one thing about this game that rubbed me the wrong way was this 'vibe' or the flavor of its' atmospheric feeling, it's like a constant cloud of something that hangs over the entire game all the way till the end. This is difficult to explain, but I will try to put it into words. It was almost a stale feeling when I played it, not the story or the battles, not the characters you interact with. It was just that the game had a 'stale, old, crusty meatloaf that your grandmother cooked' feeling to it. LOL, i'm not sure why it gave me that feeling but it sure was a strong staleness that i felt when i played it and tried to get immersed in the world.
Still, it's a good game, great characters you interact with, fun quests, and not to shabby fighting.
