Hey think about it, if crysis runs at 60fps at 2048x1536 with a single 8800 and 2 cores. Is that not proof enough you could run crysis on max dx9, 60fps with 1280x720 rez on consoles? Citizen_Zero

No its not. Its the exact opposite. DX10 isnt just new features it comes with massive optimizations (6-8 times as fast as DX9 according to MS). The DX10 version looks better and runs much better.
