Online only games like BF2 were full price and completely worth it. Warhawk is just crappy and limited so they dropped the price.

I'm back with a new "GAMING HISTORY" post, anyway, what is the most original game ever?
nintendork12345
Pong of course. Cant get mor original then inventung the damn industry.
[QUOTE="SpecialForcesOp"]and at least make the GTA4 with the Premium Xbox 360 and PS3 in mind?
with HDD support and Blu-ray.
Meaning On the 360 it's at least 2-3 DVD9's with HDD REQUIRED......
Many of your awesome games are doing it, BLue Dragon and Lost Oddysee,
But the Switching DVD's would NOT be a big deal right? you lemmings always applauded the idea.
and just 1 50GB Blu-ray disc on the PS3.
Why hamper an awesome game because of this MOFO which no one likes anyway?
= Your worst enemy Lemmings.

Thats what im sayin if they dont mind switchin disk for GTA then Rockstar should be puttin it into mulitple disks for 360 owners..or they can just do whatever they can to take advantage of the ps3 first and make a port to the 360 and fix problems from there..its not right to make ps3 owner suffer..Microsoft paid them big money..all they do is throw money at devlopers..where they should put the money into fixing their defective 360..
Listen to yourself. Last gen you were a cow right? Last gen the PS2 was half as powerful as the Xbox and none of them had HDD's. Did you complain then? No because your a fanboy. This gen the consoles are almost exactly the same graphics wise and 80% of 360's had HDD's. Rockstar can use caching for the PS3 and Premium versions and implement short load times ala Oblivion for the core owners. So far the only benefit of Blu-Ray is allowing devs to put uncompressed data and duplicate data for region free games. GTA is not going to break that trend. It doesnt have any CGI cut scenes and alot of the textures are reused over and over. These two things along with sound take up the vast majority of space. The only thing it has alot of is geometry and that doesnt take up much space. GTA4 will easily fit on a DVD9 at its currant graphical level.
[QUOTE="TOAO_Cyrus"]Get the mods for oblivion that fix all of that and more.AvIdGaMeR444
My 3 year old PC would laugh at me if I tried to run Oblivion. I have the 360 version.
poor you. :p

Ownage approved, even though he'll counter with the "but you picked the worst MGS pic possible!"
[QUOTE="GermanShepard06"]the biggest key that ps3 has over x360 is the onboard memory controller, that cuts all the entire system memory latency by 10x times.
mattbbpl
I didn't realize that IBM put an onboard memory controller onto the Cell. I'm glad to see that someone took a page out of AMD's book. Now if only Intel would abandon the blasted front-side-bus...
The 360 controller is on the GPU. The GPU uses ram alot more then the CPU.
[QUOTE="greg_splicer"][QUOTE="Zoomer30"]You got everything wrong, 360 can have the WHOLE ram for textures, PS3 can't wihout a HUGE hit in performace, os it looses 100%I have heard 360 fans saying "The 360 is better since it has more RAM and can share it". Well here are the RAM stats for each machine.
360: 512MB GDDR3 @ 700MHz
10MB Embedded DRAMPS3: 256MB XDR @ 3.2GHz
256MB GDDR3 @ 700MHzAs your can see they have the same amount of RAM. If anything the PS3 has a slight edge in that its main RAM is 3.2 Ghz. It does not need to share RAM.
Lazy_Boy88
And you have it even more wrong. 360 can't just magically use all the Ram for one thing. Ram is always needed for both CPU and GPU. I doubt the ratio goes much past 1:1 in most cases. PS3's CPU ram is much faster and can also be used by the RSX if the dev desperately needs it. It's really about dead equal between them with 360's being easier to make efficient.
Actually your wrong. Its probably more like a 70-30 split for textures and game code.

Except 3.3 GHz XDR has only a bit more bandwidth then 700Mhz DDR. Also the PS3 OS uses 96 MB of ram and it takes some complecated coding for the GPU to use the XDR ram.
