It wasn't THAT bad. The graphics were crap and the frame rate went to hell all the time, but the controls were the best FPS controls before MP3 came out. Had the damn game been polished and optimized for the Wii from the ground up, it could've easily looked better than any of the Far Cry's on Xbox not to mention run smoother. I do have the game, and I do like playing it every now and then just to see what could've been done better, and I also look at it every once in a while to remind myself of how cheap game developers can be when they port a game with insane amounts of potential only to crap it out onto our unsuspecting faces.
The graphics and framerate weren't bad for me. Though, I will say it doesn't look as good as the xbox version, but it certainly looks better than the majority of ps2 titles. Though, this isn't the worst game ever. I'd give that to gundam: crossfire since it is so broken, its unplayable.
It's funny how so much of the original game engine was left intact, but they pulled stuff out of the game just to "optimize" it without "optimizing" at all and rebuilding the game.

Too bad it wasn't Crytek that developed the Wii version of Far Cry (as they didn't develope any of the console ones). Although i hear Crytek is interested in the Wii, and I can foresee them making a great Wii FPS using every bit of capability from the system.
